We went over to the Flint to celebrate our 16th Wedding Anniversary tonight. We got greeted by the Owners as we walked in. They are Awesome people. They came by our table 3 times to check on us. They even brought the Head Chef by to make sure our food was prepared to our liking. We will make the Flint one of our favorite places to go. We highly recommend the Flint for your next night out.
Gentleman at the door was dressed to impress and extremely polite. We came to eat, but I was a little under dressed. They still let us sit down and I am so happy we got to stay. Our server was spot on and kept our drinks full. Our stuffed flounder came out fast and was sooo delicious. The gentleman singing was also nice and had a great voice. I would highly recommend to anyone that comes to Albany.
Had an amazing experience when visiting here for my husband's graduation. We felt like VIPs as the owner greeted us at the door and made arrangements for us to get seated quickly even though we didn't have a reservation. The food was amazing. The pasta Alfredo, catfish and spinach dip were very good! The ambiance of this place is so pleasing as well. Great place for a date night or celebration. I took my 6 year old here so my only gripe is they don't have any selections for young children other than the appetizers like mozzarella sticks and fries but my son still loved it.
What can I say the food and the service is ?. Everything is good but try the red snapper first. Lakia is the best I would ask for her when you visit make sure to tip her well. Tell her Mike recommended her.
We had an awesome time . Service was great . Friendly warm atmosphere. The owner talked with us and made us feel Like family . Will Definitely go back.
I am overwhelmed with the quality of this place. I had the roasted chicken and it was perfect! It’s a large portion of juicy meat with crispy skin. It’s served on top of a scoop of cornbread dressing that makes me want to jump up and kiss my momma! The whole vibe of this place is positive. I met one of the owners on the way out and told him how much I enjoyed the whole experience. He was gracious and very kind.A lot of small businesses are struggling right now. I’m a small business owner and know full well how difficult it is to stay afloat. However, I didn’t feel any difficulties at the Flint. It’s obvious how much the owners care and enjoy their restaurant. It’s evident in the staff who truly appear to enjoy their jobs. Well done my friends! I will be back!

I was so excited to try The Flint and left so disappointed. The drinks were amazing! But the food not so much. My appetizer was so cold. My main entree was cold as well. I’m not saying I will never go back, but it was just a few things that went on that I didn’t approve of. Our food literally sat on that stage for over 5 mins before it was passed out. We got there at 7. Our waiter didn’t take our order until 9. We didn’t get our food until 10.we felt rushed when it wasn’t our fault that we ordered so late.I will try it again maybe for a date night but not with a bigger crowd.
My first time there, greetings, service, waitress, and food were excellent; I made a mistake on my order and my daughter apologizes to the waitress and they fixed it with no problem, and I were very happy and please I will be going again. The only problem was that it needed a little more lighting. The owners were very nice they came and greeted us at the table. Loved it
