I regularly eat (sliced pork big deal) on my trips to Florida to visit my mom. Most of the time going through the drive through. I've never gotten any bad pork from here. Lukewarm french fries a couple of times. Today I was able to go inside to eat. The food was great. 10 stars to Tim, our waiter. He was very respectful, courteous, and conscientious. He is what everyone desires in a waiter and this Sonny's is lucky to have him.
Never have I have ever. Smh. I will never go back to this place. I placed my order online, waited the 30 min that the email said, and made my way to the restaurant to pick up my order... family in tow, on mother's day. I went inside, waited in line, gave the girl the name for my order. I proceded to wait for 30 min and watch my order sit there the entire time waiting for drinks and banana pudding. After 30 min, I got back in line to get a refund. My food was cold at that point and had been sitting for 30 min after all. The girl got her superior. i told her I'm not paying $40 for cold food. I had 2 screaming kids in the car with my husband. She told me I had to go online to get a refund, I told her please tell me how... She couldn't... But also couldn't issue a refund in store.... So she had the food remade while we took the family home. I send my husband back to pick it up... Low and behold she can suddenly issue a refund in store. But here's the catch... She refunded everything except the order of corn nuggets, then tried to not put the corn nuggets with the order that was remade. I will never pay money to eat at a sonnys. Ever. The majority of my problems didn't even come from the staff, it was the stupid set up and stupid protocols they have in place that make it impossible to be efficient. I honestly felt bad for the employees, they were all busy and nothing flowed smoothly. It was an awful experience and i will never recommend this place to anyone.
I ordered the Pork 3 Ways and the serving size was very meager. I received 3 ribs that were each barely 2 inches long! The best was a meager helping of Pulled Pork. This is not my first time at Sonny's but it is my first time since their dismal upgrade of the place! What were the owner's thinking?! Is this why my current meal was basically half of what it was before the changes?! DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!! YOU CAN COOK THE PORK BETTER YOURSELF WITH BETTER HELPINGS!!!! AND DO NOT PLAN FAMILY EVENTS HERE LIKE I SAW!!!!You can easily tell that Sonny's packed this review with their own photos!!!! Classic 'BAIT AND SWITCH' move there!!!!
Recently visited this location and I had a better experience than I did previously. The food was good and so was the service. I ordered it to go but everything was still good.
We ordered from this place via Door Dash and we didn't receive our brisket on the Sonny's Sampler, no BBQ sauce either. We also order Banana pudding for dessert and didn't receive that either. Yet when I called them, they said we could come get it, well that's why we order on-line. We will never order through them again and the food is not great by any means. We will tell others about this experience and their customer service is none!.Our bill was $54 and not a complete order. Door dash only refunded the dessert and nothing else. This place is sorry!!!
If I could give zero stars I absolutely would!Well after 45 minutes the kids had their food and had done finished it all. I got mine 10 minutes ago. Didn't eat it bc I was waiting for my husband to get his. Waitress comes and tells my husband they bumped his order and needed to know what he ordered again. He said just take it off and bring a to go box for mine. Don't ever come to sonny's. The only time she came to the table was to tell us the food was messed up. Table beside us with 15 people had their food brought out all together and we were there first. We left. Still hungry. ***ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND*****
We had the pork 3 was. Cold not even warm. Tasted like old hog. Food had to have been cooked for a long time. The garlic bread was cold. Will not be back.
Food was good but not great. Maybe it would have been better if it came out hot or at least warmer Service not too good. Our server -Never introduced herself when she came up to the table for the first time -Never told us about the specials or the all you can eat that I learned about as I was talking to another customer on the way out -Apologized multiple times for the delay in getting the food out. Probably why it wasn’t warm -Gave us our check while we were still eating -Came us to us while we were chatting and asked if we were ready to check out. (FYI, there were plenty of open seats so there was no need to rush us out) Got rushed out. Not rushing back.
