Out of town family (with their two fur babies) chose this restaurant (pet friendly) for us to meet and visit over lunch. I had not been here in years, but will remember to add it to my list of go-to places for lunch. The food was good ( my choice ) and the service was excellent. We were there at opening time, so it wasn't crowded yet. It was nice that we didn't feel hurried to eat and leave. Locos, definitely will see a return visit from me.
I was waffling between 3 and 4 stars. I've been here several times with my daughter and inevitably we get something that's good and something that's not, my daughter said that her friends that frequent Locos tell her it depends on who's cooking when you go. I would like to just see more consistency in the dishes. Also, the mixed drinks are just not that tasty. That being said the servers are always friendly and sweet, great customer service!
I've been there here a few times in past, it was the first time for my fiance who was impressed by the size of the burger he got -loved his cajun fries just wished there was a few more.. my philly cheesesteak itself was near perfect (next time will ask them to hold the mustard). Love their sweet tea better than mama's.. Our food was brought out quickly and service was great! Definitely will be returning soon!!!
The food was delicious! The waitress was nice. There was a delay on food which we were made aware of prior to being seated. We had a party of 7. My only complaint is that when I received my receipt my food wasn't itemized, only the total was given and a place to ADD a tip. I only had two things I ordered, so I knew what my total should have been. Bottom line, you'll end up double tipping of parties over a certain amount because the receipt doesn't disclose that gratuity has been added.
Waiter was very inattentive and took forever to bring check when our meal was done. The worst part though was me and my girlfriend both got food poisoning and became very I’ll for 2-3 days after eating here. I reached out to the manager and never heard back, very disappointing. Needless to say I will never eat here again.
So I was at locos today with my family and it was HELL! First we was sat separated. They showed segregation undertones… It felt uncomfortable at first. We got some nachos and woo lord it felt so BLAND. The meat was literally cooked burger patty meat and it was nasty. After a whole 30 minute wait, we finally received our food. The tenders was not hitting and the burger patty was dry. I don’t recommend coming here at ALL. First and Last time.
First time going and we will go back. The fried pickles are the best in Albany, the Cuban was pretty good though the Mojo dip it came with was a little wierd. It wasn't bad but didn't really taste like anything. The wife had the rooster sandwich and liked it. She did not like the cajun fries mainly because hers were soggy and said they aren't very cajun. Compared them to five guys cajun fries which she loves. Our 17 year old and her friends go here all the time and love the food.
We had a party of 12 and waited over 1.5 hrs for fried food and salads. Our waitress was very attentive, but the manager offered nothing but I'm sorry for recovery.
Wife and I went there for dinner very polite very helpful..service was great
