It has been a while since I had been to Firehouse subs....got a free sub for my bday (thanks) so I had lunch....ordered online to avoid lines but I fortunately, I still had to wait while my friends ordered in line and got theirs before I did....but it was free so can't complain too much....food was great...restrooms were clean....staff was friendly....
I will not be going back to the Firehouse on Dawson Rd. in Albany, GA. I was highly dissatisfied with the way my food was made. I asked for extra lettuce and what I was given didn't even cover the bottom of the container, yet I paid $9.00 and was even generous enough to donate my extra change to the firehouse fund when asked. I mean for goodness sakes, be mindful enough to give a generous portion of lettuce when extra is requested--it's just lettuce! I also didn't like that the cucumbers and peppers were chopped not sliced--what sandwich joint serves produce for sandwiches like that. The person who made my food was condescending and said to me on the way out "enjoy eating that". Because of my experience, I will not be back. It's the first Firehouse that I was very unsatisfied with. I'll stick with Jersey Mike's and even Subway, places that know what they are doing!
Great tasting sub. Service was sub-par. Be prepared, it is expensive. I got the small sub which is about a third of a sub at $6.89 and not very much ingredients. That's more than a whole sub at Subway and about the same price for a BBQ sandwich, side and drink at Hog N Bones. Won't return due to pricing and value.
They just don't add much meat here. I've been to other Firehouse Subs locations and get about twice of what they add here. Not the fastest or nicest customer service but not rude either. However I did raise my rating due to the fact this is a very clean location. It is the one saving grace of my visit.
The employees were friendly, but I asked for no mustard on my daughter's sandwich. She said it tasted funny. And, of course, it had mustard on it. Mistakes happen. I'm fine with that, but mustard was only on half of the large sandwich. It looked as if the guy tried to scrape it off, and that I take issue with. If you mess up, start over!
Firehouse should have it where we can see our sandwich being made. That way it will eliminate all those remakes for putting or not putting what was requested.Update I changed my review to 3 stars because again our food was made wrong. My husband can not eat mayonnaise but Firehouse insist on putting it on every sandwich. We didn't know the sandwich was made wrong until we were getting ready to eat tonight! Telling management hasn't solved the problem at all! I will just make my own sandwiches at home for now on!
I ordered the cajin chicken sandwich asked for extra tomatoes extra onions. Took it to go, when I got home my sandwich had no tomatoes no onions despite what my recipe said. At the price they charged I might as well fix a sandwich at the house and drive to the local fire station and give the first firefighter I see 10 bucks. Probably won't be back.
The staff was very unprofessional and very Friendly And did not get 3 out of the 4 people in my party sandwiches was made wrong
The ingredient qualities is good except for the pickles. I love the Italian sub but the sandwich artists are not consistent. The very first time I ordered the Italian it was on point. A young African American man and lady who seemed to be in training made it. Didn't see them anymore my next few visits until today but that young man was on the register ?. So the next three times I have visited my sandwiches have been lukewarm, has had soggy bread from the oil or vinegar, and my mustard is missing sometimes. Usually I will give a restaurant 2 times to mess up b4 I throw in the towel. I have given them 3 because I love the sandwich. Maybe I will just start making my own at home and get exactly what I want and how I want it?. Oh and the potato soup was blah.
Probably one of the only places on albany great customer service. The guy who waited on us was so nice and friendly . The manager was actually out working with his staff and everyone was over all in a great mood . Would give 10 stars but can't. Good job firehouse !!!!
