If I could rate a half of star, then I would. I order one of the most popular items on the menu. The food came out really quick after placing my order with the Waitress. The food looked amazing until I stuck my fork into the food. I found a fly in my food. I contact my Waitress and showed her the plate. The Waitress offer to have it remade or order something else. A new order was placed. No Manager or Assistant ever came to the table and address the fly in the cook issue. No discount was ever given but the Waitress still was looking for a tip. My husband and I love coming to El Vaqueros! We are always served fresh food in a timely manner. We usually order chorizo dip as an appetizer, then my husband always gets the #43 which is a large chicken quesadilla. This time I tried the chimichanga; it was good! We’re usually seated and served quickly and rarely have to wait long for fresh food after we place our order! Service is just right. They aren’t constantly at your table chatting you up, but they don’t ignore you either. They do a great job! We would have no reservations about recommending El Vaqueros to anyone who loves Mexican cuisine!
Worst customer service ever........If I could rate this establishment a zero I would. After waiting for half of my party to arrive as told I was told there were no available seats. No reservations on Friday/Saturday (supposedly) however I was told differently by another hostess as well as shown reservations in there handwritten notebook. As well as being told by the manager he doesn't hold tables because he loses money. Was also told by another hostess that if you were white they would allow you a reservation. Racism at it's finest and I will NEVER patronize this establishment again. Last I checked all money is green and spends the same way. Went to Los Vaqueros and was seated immediately with half my party. My $800 plus tips was well worth it at Los Vaqueros.

Service provided was relatively good. The queso and chorizo dips saved the evening, both were quite good. The carne asada tacos seemed to have more cilantro than anything and were served moderately warm. The entire plate was sent out wrapped in a layer of tin foil like it had been sitting for a while before being brought to our table.
Lovely atmosphere, waiters were very polite, continuously checked in and made sure food was just right and drinks were filled. The margarita was delicious, the salsa was fantastic, not bland very flavorful and not spicy at all. I do like spice but it was a nice change. First time coming and I loved the experience!! Definitely will come back. Clean bathrooms. Clean dining area. Perfect!
One of my favorite places to eat! Great service and the food is always delicious!
Went on a Wednesday night. The place was crowded and kinda loud. The staff was very nice. It took a few minutes for them to take our order. For food was great. We did have to wait for our bill but that was because the were busy. I wasn't in any hurry.
