My husband and I was shopping for clergy robes in Albany. We did not want typical fast-food. I googled and found Dunbars. The next time we are in Albany, Dunbars here we come. The food was amazing. I know someone grandmother taught those young men how to cook, lol. We have shared it with members of our church. I pray the Lord open more doors for Dunbars.
His ribs are my favorite, if you live in Albany, GA or ever visit please do not deprive yourself. This is worth the visit. They give you nice portions, the food is great, his deserts are the bomb and customer service is excellent. He supports his local community. When thexforboys.org organization was feeding the community every weekend this place cooked all of the food. So he give back and should be patronized
Guys listen have you ever heard of people being anointed to cook man Sunday after church we went to dunbar's in Albany the line was long but anytime you see a line that's long constantly you Best fine your parking spot and get in line too the food so so good I ate off of it for 2 days I had oxtails and rice collard greens field peas fritter cornbread the next day that plate was even better good seasoning set in nothing's overdone everything is right Tamara Corey kudos
I tried several times to like this place. However the staff sucks. Lacks customer service skills. Food is good. But the environment needs a good manager who can clean up the place. Environment makes huge difference in service.
It had been along time since I had stopped by here. But the food was good and the staff was very friendly and polite.
My first time eating at Dunbar soul food, this is the place to eat very good food. The staff is wonderful, and I don't care about the cost, because you get your money worth and a lot more; I will be back every time I come to Albany.

The customer service was EXCELLENT! We were greeted as we walked in the door. The young men working were not upset that we came in as they were getting ready to shut down for the day. They were patient as we ordered. The serving sizes were worth the prices. They were very personable and friendly. Corey, the owner, talked to me a while outside. The food was NOT salty, but seasoned. My family was very pleased!!
Wow I was headed back home to Florida and I wanted some good Ole soul food, I checked Google, this came up, so delicious and a good portion of food. Great Food and Great Customer Service
