After recently moving to Albany my husband and I are trying out some of the local restaurants to find our new favorites. China Garden ranks up there on the top of our list. Even though we got there just minutes before closing time, I don't think things could have gone any better. The lady who took our order was very nice and even reopened her register to be able to accept our debit card because we didn't have cash. Maybe I was expecting the worst at that late arrival but was very pleased to discover that the food was excellent! So, we will definitely be returning because they received very high marks in hospitality and the food was plentiful, inexpensive and delicious. Thanks China Garden- we will see you again soon!
I enjoyed the General Tso Chicken combo, the Chicken sticks, the Sweet and Sour Chicken combo, the Teriyaki Beef and the Pu Pu platter. I argued with the lady about the size and she proved me wrong with a smile which is a great customer service apporach!You might feel a little short changed as the prices went up $0.50 but she was on spot and didn't cheat me. I do wish they would give you a receipt but, I feel she can be trusted not to cheat you! Unlike Peking House on Radium Springs which the man charged me the dinner combo but gave me the lunch combo!So CONCLUSION: GREAT MEAL AT A GREAT PRICE!!!!

Came here twice now and I love it, I’m hooked.Got jalapeño chicken, almond fried chicken and bourbon chicken. The bourbon chicken is like fried which is amazing. The jalapeño chicken is definitely spicy.
I love china garden's food with the huge shrimps they have in the shrimp with broccoli. The only reason I didn't give them a 5 star rating is because it seems like a problem when paying with your bank card.. The lady always hit me with "No cash" it gets annoying.. If I had cash I would have giving you cash, so all I have is my card either you want the business or not.. After no cash is giving they swipe the card. So why not do that at first instead of "No cash"
The food is ok it's not all that great like the one on old Dawson Rd by Ross they fry their chicken wings too hard I stopped going I ain't been there since early last year
The lady that took our order ignore me and waa very rude when I told her what we wanted...she didn't even give me a acknowledgement of what I order and waa talley up the order before asking what I wanted to drink...and I told her excuse me am I invisible standing here? She still didn't acknowledge me ordering...little did she know I was paying the bill...so we walked out because of her rudeness!
