It is pretty hard to give any McDonald's a 5 start rating for it's good, because it's McDonald's... But the Mars Hill Acworth location has the very best staff! They always smile, are kind, polite (a HUGE bonus today when everyone else in food service are surely and rude), and they don't just throw the food in your window. They also have a working shake machine! Whaaaaat?! ??.
Seems impossible to keep the ice cream machine working. Need a flashing sign so people do not have to sit in line for the bad news AGAIN. If I go in opposite yet out of way direction, Dairy Queen, Bobby's, Culver's, Sonic ice cream machines have never been broken and yet McDonald's is broken more often than not, including tonight!! Again!!
Food was fine, typical for a McDonald's and my order was taken quickly. Only qualm was that the manager was yelling at staff so often and so loud that you could hear it throughout the restaurant, and meanwhile he was just sitting there. Can't stand when management mistreats employees like that.
Food is fine, but go through drive thru or inside for mobile orders. I had a curbside marked complete without receiving food. After 15+ minutes I went inside and then had employees argue with me over sauces. I'm fine with paying extra for extra limited sauces, but not when the app says they're free *and* I get ignored in the curbside spot. It wasn't during a lunch or dinner rush, so there was no backlog of orders.
The manager spoke to staff like they were trash... the floor behind the counter was nasty... the dining room was nasty. The food was trash and not how we asked...we just got our money back and left.. went to Arby's across the street.
As McDonald's goes, this one is excellent. The drive through is super fast, and most of the staff are friendly.It's McDonald's, not gourmet, but when you want a fast and inexpensive burger, fries, and the best Coke or sweet tea you'll find in a drive through, this place is a goto.The food is always good, and there's an uncommon (to McDonald's on general) caring that goes into order assembly. Mistakes are rare, and they're quick and friendly to resolve when it happens.
Have come here a couple times around 12 pm and no one responds to take my order. When i pull around, each time, i can see the workers inside. For a 24 hour place they seem sporatic when they want to take your order or money.
Came here for the playground for my kids and got some food. Asked to see if my children could play bc the playground was closed and they said they just didn’t want to clean it that’s why it’s closed. Found 2 different colored hairs in my fries.
Old cold burger. Ordered with no onions. Came out with triple onions. Almost more onions than burger. Fries were old and cold. Sweet tea tasted like it had 4 lbs of sugar in it. You basically cant eat McDonald's at any location anymore. They simply don't care what you order or how old the food is they give you. Do yourself a favor. Spend 2 more dollars. And go eat somewhere else.
