I have given them their last chance. I’ve gone in 4 times around 7 when we get home from work and they are out of baked potatoes. We even called ahead and asked if they had potatoes this time. We were told yes and then when we got there 10 minutes later we were told there were no potatoes. You still have an hour before close! There is no excuse. First you shouldn’t be closing at 8. Too early for a restaurant on the weekend. Second if you are open til 8 you should have your complete menu until then. Baked potatoes can be used the next day if you have too many. If you don’t want to carry them take them off the menu. Just like you did Brunswick stew. Dumb move. Brunswick stew is a bbq favorite. I don’t know who’s running this place but they need to be fired and replaced now! I will not be back. EVER!!!! They don’t want to be open so they should close their doors. I’m beyond angry and frustrated.

Absolute WORST experience ever!!! Attempted to go through the drive-thru and sat there for a long time behind one car. I ended up just going inside to order. The young lady running the bar was very nice, but after I ordered I waited quite a while for my order. There didn’t seem to be any sense of urgency with the staff, specifically the kitchen staff carried themselves as if they really didn’t care. The woman who appeared to be a manager (maybe she wasn’t, not sure), finally called my name and handed me my food. She didn’t seem to really care that we had waited so long. I get there are staffing issues but some communication from the staff to the customers would really help.

I guess putting the Jim back in the Nicks made all the difference! We’ve had wonderful experiences the past few visits and we haven’t been in a few years. My wife ordered a baked potato with pulled pork for my son and came home with a nerf football size potato and they weren’t cheap on the amount of meat they gave him! Wow!! This thing is massive. He will get two full meals out of this!

The worst brisket I’ve ever had. Cold and dryer than beef jerky. Completely inedible. Dinner did come with a nice side of food poisoning that was delivered later that night. Not just bad bbq but an unsafe place to eat.

It’s a Jim N’ Nicks now. Simply the worst Jim N’ Nicks I ever visited. Service is terrible and the food is worse. Ordered an Uber Eats chicken sandwich a couple of weeks earlier and was not given any white sauce. The meat only cover about half the bun. There was seriously an inch from the meat to the edge of the bread. Decided to go in person. Ordered a chicken sandwich and it took forever to arrive and when it arrived it was cold. Plenty of meat this time but all dark meat. I came at an odd hour and there were only a few people there. They obviously used me to take the time to pick all the dark meat off the left over chicken. Ordered a chocolate pie at the time I placed the order for the chicken sandwich and had eaten the sandwich and then had to walk around the restaurant begging for my chocolate pie. When it finally came, it came in a bowl with no crust other than the thick edge across the back. Pitiful. Get your BBQ anywhere but here. I’ve visited this location probably five times always hoping I would get an Alabama experience and end up wondering how I was so stupid to come back to this place.

New to the area, and them not being busy really, after ordering, getting drinks, and getting a seat, it took them 40 minutes to bring us our biscuits and appetizer. The tea was pure sugar, our food was warm at best, the cheese on the appetizer wasn’t melted. We ordered two of the same app, they were delivered to the table with different things on them. I’ve paid less money for three times as much meat as I got with my entrée, and the brisket entree was mostly fat. We will not be returning. I paid nearly $70 for 4 people, 2 of which are small children, to eat less than we would’ve gotten anywhere else.

On Saturday Jim N Nick's catered our daughter's shower, they were AMAZING,every category was 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ordering, delivery, setup, details and especially the BBQ and sides,Thank You to the Acworth Jim N Nicks

We have been guests at this location 2 or 3 times a month since the original opening. The food has always been excellent and the service as well. We frequent the drive thru most of the time. Never been disappointed until today. Valeria made sure that today will be the last day we choose Nick's. Very rude. Can't believe she is the best you've got. I'm sure the original partners would not approve.

I mostly avoid giving a negative review, and do so only when it's REALLY bad. And today, it was REALLY bad. I didn't say anything last time, which was bad, but this time I am.I ordered a 2 meat platter. Brisket and chicken. First, it was 25 bucks. I can deal with that if it's a good portion and it tastes good. This was neither. The brisket was mushy. Think of a paper towel soaked in water. Just awful. There were only two slices, one of which was about 75% fat. My dog enjoyed it. But again, mushy and only two pieces, one almost all fat. What worker would find it acceptable to put that in an order. I can assure you if I dined in, they would never have served that. It was appalling in appearance. Gross, really. And again, just two slices. The meat was barely more than room temperature. The chicken was fine, but even that was a paltry portion. The Tate and consistency were fine, but it wasn't hot either. The biscuits were good.Bottom line: This is now twice in a row that I have been served food that simply isn't good, and the portion sizes ridiculously small. For 25 bucks. Some locations are good. This particular location is awful. Consistently bad. This now makes three of the last four visits unacceptably bad. Two in a row. No more chances.I mean seriously, they KNEW the brisket they served me was bad. Stevie Wonder could have seen that.
