The bbq is amazing and the service is really attentive but the only reason I didn’t give a full 5 stars is because the wait time can be a pretty long when it’s busy. The ribs are amazing and fall off the bone and brisket is either amazing or pretty good depending on what cut it is. It’s a must visit though and It’s worth the drive if you live closer to Atlanta.

The bbq was pretty good. I've definitely had better brunswick stew. I would go back if I was in the area.

My favorite barbecue place in the Acworth area! The building is an old schoolhouse so it is a bit dated and creaky but I don’t mind. The staff is always kind and good comes out super fast. Best collard greens I’ve had in the area!

Loved it! We ordered the two meat combo platters, the brisket and rib platter, the fried chicken sandwich and the pork sandwich. Everything was just done right and perfectly juicy. Don't miss the creamiest banana pudding and the hot fudge brownie sundae. It was great too. They have indoor and outdoor seating now. Great ambience. Definitely recommend.

It was an OK experience. The wait was very minimal for the food to arrive from the placing of the order, however, the fries did taste as if they were ready to serve 30 minutes prior and were very salty. The chopped pork was good, but was swimming in sauce, so I was unable to experience what the meat tasted like alone and was also fattier than what I’d expect. The Mac&Cheese was really great. The hush puppies crumbled upon tasting but didn’t taste bad. Overall the food was fine, the service and waitress were excellent, but for the price, I expected better quality over all on the food.

Very disappointed! I've come once a year for the past three yrs in town. Been good in the past. This time... the brisket was obviously reheated to dried jerky, the mac and cheese separated, and the silver skin was left on the smoked ribs. Not worth the $28.50 for the two meat with two sides.

The reason I'm giving 1 star is because my experience wasn't so good. The chopped pork was more like shredded pork and it tasted as if it had been sitting outside for hours before being served. Had that 'wet dog' smell and tasted just the same. Only thing I enjoyed was the baked beans and the sweet tea. Staff was GREAT! Bbq, not so much.

Love this barbeque!!! They have two locations in the area...we have been to both. The school house location is adorable. I got the chopped pork, Taki got the brisket ..... delicious. I have also had the sausage when I was wanting something different...loved it as well. The Mac and cheese is heavenly, fried okra and slaw are good too. Great sauces. Great service.

Cool atmosphere here, and it was interesting to see the different types of wood stacked up that they use to cook with. Their mozzarella sticks are the best we've had anywhere. Wanted to try their herb brined turkey club but there were just too many good things on the menu to choose from. Service was great and food was on the table in record time. Convenient location but parking is a bit tight.

Very nice place. Restaurant that was an old school house. Really neat. Food was good. Little pricey. But will be back. Great service.
