My husband and I found this restaurant while we were on the way to Red top Mountain State Park. We ordered pork pulled, rips, and coleslaw. The food was so delicious. The rips was so tender and not a lot of fat. The pork pulled was soft and not too dry. Coleslaw was so good, too. We were happy we tried this place. We will be back for sure.
The best BBQ we have had in along time. We had the sampler it was so delicious and sides are great also.
The food and service were both amazing! Family owned and operated and it definitely shows in the quality! All the food was delicious and the meats were very tender! They were all very friendly and it's dog friendly too. We will definitely be back! Also it is all outside, there's no inside seating so come prepared to pick up or enjoy the beautiful weather!
The food is excellent!The service is friendly and inviting!Even the first time we ordered, we felt like we were treated as if we were long time friends of the family, joking and laughing as we studied the menu.Cucumber salad is great!So is the coleslaw! (And I'm pretty picky about my coleslaw)The meat, the sides, it's all wonderful.And dont forget the banana pudding! ?And then there's the small town feel when you're ordering here.I've seen so many customers come and go, I'm sure they cant possibly remember our family specifically, yet somehow, we feel like they do every time we stop by. That's just how comfortably friendly they are!At this time, there are no tables set up to eat at, but, like everybody else, we just get our food and either eat it in the car, or take it up to Redtop State Park for a Picnic.Lack of tables does not deter us from good food!We do see improvements being made around there though... so perhaps someday they may have a few outside picnic tables... either way, we'll be back again!
Always have to try these side of the road spots and this one is legit! So glad I found this right before boating season begins!! Super friendly fair prices and amazing food!
Stopped by this cute country barbecue shack for dinner tonight. The guy at the counter was super friendly and the food was delicious, highly recommend trying this place if you are in the area!
We were camping at McKinney. So glad we tried out this amazing bbq!! Called ahead about noon to order for 3:00 pick up…. It’s a smart move , they often sell out of popular items ! Everything we got was amazing…. Ribs, brisket, Mac and cheese ?slaw, collards and banana pudding . Oh wow!! Highly recommend! We've had their pork, chicken, ribs, brisket, sausage, coleslaw, collards and baked beans - everything they do is so good, full of flavor and tender. Great southern customer service all around. ❤️
So we have tried bbq places around here and by far this is the best we have had. The baked beans and mac and cheese are awesome. Excellent food.Ate here again on jan 28th. Chili mac, Brunswick stew, pork sliders, man this food is delicious. Hands down the best bbq place in this area!!!!!
Delicious lean brisket, marbley was available but I prefer lean. Brunswick stew was second best I ever had. The best passed away.
