4th of July celebration.We were 100% delighted with our choice to celebrate today! The chicken and brisket was wonderful..moist, tender and flavorful!. The baked beans were great and the creamed corn stood out for sure. Be sure to order the cornbread..delicious!!
Decent BBQ for lunch. Tried the Pork Plate with two sides and a drink, expect to pay around $16.
Pulled pork had no flavor, three meat platter was very small in portions and overpriced, barbecue sauce has no flavor in the hot and mild. For the same price go to big shanty smokehouse.
Just had my husband pick up some brisket and sides for a nice dinner since I read good things. The sweet bbq sauce is the smokiest sauce I’ve ever had - in a good way! It’s clear how so much work went into the food, and the sides were better than other bbq places I’ve eaten around here. I think this is my new favorite!
I wish I saved my money and went elsewhere...like city BBQ or anywhere but here! 19.00 for sausage platter? The portion size was insanely small only a few slices of sausage that seemed like it was from a hotdog and this was supposed to be larger than the lunch platter!! I think not and I will not be venturing back. If I could attach a picture I would, the sausage was cut like for a toddler! 2 stars because the baked beans were the only thing decent...smh. I was looking forward to enjoying this from the reviews but just was not good or worth the drive, sorry!
I tried it twice. Both times very greasy. It is so greasy and the Brunswick stew is so sweet it’s like ketchup. Some folks in my family like it like that and thought it’s good. Some folks hated it. The only edible thing I found was the baked potato but it was covered in butter and grease also so I had to cut that off. It was very bad in my opinion. I’m more refined as a traveler and as a cook myself I’ve had a lot of nice places. This isn’t the nicest by far. I felt sick from the level of grease in the meat. It’s just not my bag the sides aren’t the greatest and the meat is subpar. I guess some folks might like sweet stew I like mine like edible food not too sweet not too greasy. Even the dang beans were greasy! Fast service warm food but that’s as far as it goes.
Don't come here to eat barbecue ribs. The ribs were hard to eat and not fresh and tasty anymore. Even if I used more sauce was so bad.I have to return everything. They ruin my lunch because I waist my time.They only return some of the money. The manager never show up to my table and help us or return everything.I would not come back here. Bad service!??
Bbq is good but not strong enough smoke flavor to my liking, very mild. But I understand. I was happy that the place was clean and not rambunctious. Rather peacefulSo I would say stop in and you will be satisfied.

Place is clean, staff is friendly, portions are great and food is delicious! Best okra I’ve tried in Georgia. My favorite plate was barbecue on corn bread. I’m definitely going back to eat it again. Lunch time gets busy, so be ready to get in line.
