I’m here way more than I need to be and I’m never sick of it. They always greet me with a warm smile and my food is out within minutes! Trevor, the general manager is so kind and his good energy is felt the second I walk in the door. He seems to be such a great leader and advocate for his employees. I always get Sarah when I go in and she is such a hard worker and has such great recommendations! Great job to this location!
We love Tijuana Flats. This location at University Blvd has gone downhill lately. As we went to look at the menu, the menus were absolutely filthy with what looked like juice all over them. That’s fine, I understand they were probably getting to them. After we placed our order (Bangin Chicken burrito) I noticed that there was a strong fish smell coming from the burrito. I asked if anything with fish was cooked closed by, they said no. The crew that was working looked like they didn’t care about anything. Poor management, poor service, food was disgusting for the first time ever! Guacamole tasted like it was old as well. Last time we will be visiting this location… This used to be our favorite location.Time for some revamping before you lose more customers!
We've eaten at this location a handful of times and it's been good for the most part. When we order black bean tacos instead of meat, other locations will leave the taco shell half empty but they filled them out here. Whenever we're in the area we will stop here for sure.✌?❤️ #realtorrau
this is such a mixed review. I would give it 5 plus stars if I could but 1 bad Manager( Christine) makes me want to give it neg 5 stars so I went with 3. I love the place and would go there at least 3x a week, until recently. I am looking at it from a customer point of view and a partner as I do Uber Eats and each encounter with Christine has been so horrific I will not take deliveries coming from there. Christine has the most negative vibe and the way she looks at you when you ask her for something OR BRING A CONCERN TO HER. I WATCHED CHRISTINE THROW FOOD 10FT WITH AN ATTITUDE. All because the customers order was wrong an he asked for it to be fixed. I watched her lean against the wall as I stood there waiting to have my order taken, she did nothing. Ms Lani, such a wonderful hard working young lady is the one who rang up a simple chip an salsa. I have a problem cause Ms Lani was serving customers, cleaning tables and stopped to help me when Christine was standing 5ft from me looking at her to help me. I was livid. Ms Lani is so sweet and her energy is amazing until Christine is at wk. The whole staff looks stressed and its not a fun comfortable vibe when she is there. The customers are not a priority and as an Uber Eats driver, Christine has acted as if I was bothering her when I brought to her attention orders missing something or asking about an order. Trevor is amazing and the team lightens up an is full positive energy when he is around. All the staff is amazing except Christine and to find out she is a manager treating people this way, unacceptable . One bad manager can kill the whole amazing staff. I hope they fix it or demote her as the entire staff is wonderful and pleasant to be around when Christine is not there. The place is so packed when Christine is not there, its crazy. there will be less then a handful when she is there. Its crazy. Bad Managers destroy great teams. Hope it gets fixed soon.

The personal is very cool, I’ve never been deceived by the food. They serve pretty quick and the surrounding is nice ?
I got the chimichanga it was pretty good but it didn't look very appetizing when I opened the box. I really miss their nachos , I don't get why they took them off the menu. Also to go orders should get more chips.
Been eating from, them for about 20 years. The quality, of the food has gone down some. The blacken chicken used to be moist and it was dry and hard, (over cooked) the burrito wasn't warm. Before they would heat the flour wrap. The chips 1 big bunch of them maybe like 10 of them all stuck together should had never been put on the plate.
I honestly never understand why this place is so popular. It's never bad, but always just kind of meh. Nothing ever makes me want to return. I only go with work group lunches for the social aspect.
