I ordered the Baja Fish tacos. My meal was hot so that’s always a bonus. Chips were fresh. Salsa was alright and the fish was tasty though I am unsure if it’s sustainably sourced, so if that is a must, forewarning now. The place is cozy and very nicely decorated. The staff were friendly and the vibe was nice. Overall, if you’re in the mood for some decent tacos then give Tijuana Flats a try.
This was the place that kept me alive in college. I ate TFs food for breakfast lunch and dinner daily. I came back to town 12 years later... it was still firing. Def worth a stop. Quick delish no nonsense food. The hot sauce assortment ruined me for life. I have judged all other restaurant's hot sauce offerings using TFs as a comparison: No one out in the world does it better. PERIOD.
We’re from Ormond Beach - love Tijuana’s in Ormond Beach! Came in for a High School Football game. Tijuana’s in Winter Park - bad experience. 3 of us stood at the counter for 5 minutes - not once welcomed - because there was no one at the counter. We thought maybe they were closed even though it was 8:55pm. There was another customer in front of us at the counter looking just as confused as us. Two guys came out from the back - didn’t greet us or take our order. Finally an employee came out from the back to help the lady in front of us. 4th customer came in and stood opposite counter than us - 2 guys came out from the back and quickly wanted to take her order - still didn’t welcome or greet us. Should have walked. Wouldn’t return or support them if we lived in the area.
The blackened chicken tacos I ordered were equivalent to a Taco Bell cheese rollup. Hardly any toppings or meat -which is an upcharge for the blackened chicken.I tried to reach out to management twice and never received a call back. I've been eating at Tijuana for almost 15 years, and they're turning into a glorified Taco Bell. Disappointing as they used to be so great :( I won't be back to this location.
I ordered 2 dinners and chips and salsa. I got MAYBE a third of a bag of chips. Why so cheap with the chips? I’ve ordered this exact same meal and gotten 2 half bags (1 for each meal) and 1 full bag for the salsa. (Which was excessive ?) The food is good but can we get some consistency y’all? At least the person making the chips salts and peppers them good.
I love Tijuana flats! Everything is so delicious and so fresh. The staff is absolutely amazing.
Used to be good. Good and service have went downhill. Dirty tables. Servers not attentive. Orange City location much better
Generally chips and queso are supposed to include chips but according to this location that’s apparently not the case also they didn’t include the straw for my drink or the hot sauce I requested, and this isn’t the first time they screwed up an order however it is the first time they didn’t give me chips.
Jeff and the entire staff were so friendly. Very fast and very fresh food. I ordered and had my food in hand in less than 5 minutes, and they were busy. I’m beyond happy with my experience and will be returning in the future.
Great food manager came out to check our tables make sure we were all happy. I was very happy.
