This place is not bad at all. Not cheap either which could go either of ways. But Sushi Pop doesn't disappoint. Fresh and flavorful, carefully crafted pieces from the sea. Note the Happy Hour bar seats have a slightly cheaper than the table menu prices. Not to mention there are several dishes not on the typical menu.
Small place but cozy and pleasant.Food is fresh, eye appealing and nice presentation. Not a huge variety but good enough to find something you like. If you prefer sushi ? without raw fish but rather cooked varieties, they only have one option but it's delicious.Edamame with truffle salt is amazing.Dessert menu have a very strange name- Happy Ending and one of the Desserts called PMS... Really?!?. Needless to say, we went to get a Dessert elsewhere. Hope manager or franchise changes that ASAP. .. Other than that, it was good
Well let's just say this place is a gem of all gems! If you are a lover of sushi then this place is a must.Ambiance is a 5 out of 5I understand why they used the word pop in the name because this place popped for sure. We ate inside and the colors, plates, decor just hit on all levels. My date made sure she took several pictures for her IG page...??????. I most definitely wanted to take several of the plates with me...???Food is 5 out of 5Mouth watering! Explosion of flavors! Bombs over Bagdad (Outkast jam..hit a somersault without the net) vibe! I basically ate super slow so I could take it all in. I wish I could've tried everything but that just gives me a reason to come back repeatedly!Service is 5 out of 5A very welcoming hostess! Our server was on point the entire evening! She also gave her recommendations which I loved!
Front of staff girl was very confusing asked us twice if we had a reservation it was about 330pm on a Saturday afternoon with only two tables being used. We thought we couldn't eat there so we turned to leave and she said she found a table... kind of odd but the sushi was delicious. Very small portions and the atmosphere was a little off. Lots of staff everywhere but no one was very helpful or tentative. We won't be back. I thought it would be more of authentic sushi restaurant but it was more hip than I am I guess!

Totally off the beaten path, but so so worth it. Place is warm and inviting. Full slate of regular sushi fare but with a unique flair. You won’t find the usual California Roll here. Sushi is uber fresh and the menu choices are unique and tasty. Prices are reasonable but the rolls are not very big so prepare to re-order. They were out of a few items on the fish side too but more than made up for it. If in town and at Disney or a convention it’s a haul away but well well worth it.
I’ve been spending my birthday at sushi pop for the last 10 years. I spent my 28th birthday at the winter park location for the first time and I have to say I was genuinely impressed. Our server, Emily, was amazing. She was calm and collected no matter how busy she was. Attentive to all our needs and made ordering and paying the checks super simple. She never missed a beat. The food and drinks were awesome as always. I am grateful for all your hard work. Thanks for an awesome evening.
The sushi was divine. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed dining her last weekend. The atmosphere was lovely, our waiter was attentive & kind. I really enjoyed the nigiri but I was kind of put off by the portion size of only 2 for the high price. Nevertheless, we will be coming back soon!
Best sushi in Orlando. Fresh cuts and tasty. Everything is clean and the service is excellent.
Loved the location in Oviedo but Love this 1 even more since it's right in Winter Park and I also like the outdoor seating better at this location. I usually try to go for happy hour. Each time I'll try 3-4 items from the happy hour menu which changes daily but the prices are a bargain and it always gives me new things to try. Service is quick and efficient. Food is always amazing. This location just like the Oviedo location is creative and serves food that is presented in new and exciting ways, often taking a classic item and changes it up: the result being a deliciously modern take upon classic dishes that elevates them resulting in a new and delicious dish. Food is treated like art, being both wonderful tasting and also visually stunning. A+
