Do NOT go here “after hours”. It is drive through only and super slow. If you do deliveries do NOT believe the app. It tells you not to go through the drive-through and that the dining room is open for delivery pick ups. That is not true. They have not updated their business information for delivery apps. You will be waiting in the drive-through for a very long time for an order that does not pay you enough to pick it up. Stick to IHOP, Denny’s and other similar eateries. Their dining rooms are all open for late night. This location is not. Even Google says they’re open for dine-in 24 hours. NOPE. Believe nothing. Go elsewhere.
Food’s good as usual to me but as soon as I walked in the lady worker (probably a supervisor since she was wearing a dress shirt) asked “could I help you?” in what seemed like a rude tone or as if I was lost or something. And before I even said anything she goes “oh, I thought you’re here to pick up.” Well I was there to pick up food I ordered online and if she would have let me actually speak she would have known that.
No more table service, strictly counter-based. $4 Meals do not come with drinks, just so you know. Dirty floors and tables (the point of white tile is to show how clean your business is!!!). Get a Double with Cheese and leave immediately.
Customer service is a hit or a miss. I had a lovely worker take my order last time I went and she was so pleasant. Another time, I was so disgusted by the service that I told them to keep the order and my payment, that I simply was leaving because I wanted the terrible service over with already. The orders are correct some of the time, but for the most part, the bags and wrappings are almost always a mess, squished food, and missing or incorrect items. This location is convenient as it is minutes from my home, but I now go miles out of my way just to receive better service and my correct order.
The food was good, but the service was beyond rude. In the 2 minutes while I was deciding what I wanted to drink, the girl asked me 3 times, what I wanted to drink. The problem being they have no sugar free, caffeine free drinks. Not even bottled water. So, it took me awhile to decide. But they weren't busy. So it shouldn't have mattered. I won't be back.
Everyone else was very helpful. What i can guess as the manager( guy in purple shirt) completely ignored me. Just want to ask for ketchup. Order from kiosk and very little staff interaction.
They have kiosks instead of waiters and I LOVE it! I went back to the kiosk to buy a second glizzy, which is something I never would have asked a human with a face and judging eyes for. I split a Frisco Melt with a friend, and it was toasted perfectly. I've been to a lot of Steak & Shakes many times, and this was a great food experience for what it was. *For what it was.* The dining area was kind of dirty but I mean, let's be real. It's a Steak & Shake. This was also one of like 3 times in my life I went to a S&S while the sun was up.
Historically this place has been notoriously slow inside but always cooked hot and fresh never any problems. It seems they're faster now these days though, a welcomed change. Always great at steak burgers.
worst $14 i’ve spent in my entire life. the frisco melt wasn’t even cut in half and so greasy it was dripping down the corners of my mouth and falling apart i couldn’t even finish the sandwich from how disgusting it was. my fries were soggy, cold, and served in a brown paper bag (the frisco melt was wrapped in some sort of wax paper that didn’t even fit the sandwich) also when i was ordering there’s no more cajun or french fry seasoning which sucked and there’s also no more strawberry banana milkshakes when the flavors strawberry and banana are on the menu. idk if the place is trying to cut costs or whatever the case may be but this was definitely not worth $14. what they’re doing is almost criminal
American and Swiss on buttery grilled sourdough with our original Frisco sauce. That’s what I was looking forward to munch on. I paid $11.89 for the Fresco Melt Combo but instead I got a plain sliced white bread fake sandwich ?♀️. I did not get a courtesy call to see if I wanted something else because they were out of stock or ran out very understandable. I feel deceive and as a customer it’s an unsatisfying feeling I wasted money on food and stayed hungry THANKS STEAK AND SHAKE…………? My last picture is the sourdough Fresco Melt Sandwich. I’m disappointed as a customer, fries soggy and cold as well. I won’t sound like a Karen and at least say my Orange Fanta and my Classic Strawberry Milkshake was exactly as expected. The Sandwich Situation Threw Me Off never have I ever written a single review but I had to vent and blow it up good night
