I recently went to Sonny’s and experienced the greatest time I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The food was delicious, it only took a few minutes to get to me, and my waiter, Joseph, was extremely friendly. He was quick to spark up conversation, and made sure to give me timely refills. He recommended the Grilled Cheese Brisket and I must say I was skeptical! The thought of cheesy brisket was almost sacrilegious in my mind. But Joseph ensured me it’s a fantastic addition to the Sonny’s menu. I caved in and ordered it, why not? It was an amazing sandwich, and I only got to experience it’s pleasure because a southern waiter at a Sonny’s barbecue encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone. Thank you, Joseph, for making this a memorable experience. I plan on becoming a regular at this Sonny’s BBQ. It only seems right.
Food was delicious. We ordered delivery, sides, sauces, etc were all there.Food was still fresh upon arrival, and the flavor of everything was pretty amazing.My wife had the ribs, I had the smoked turkey, and we had the banana pudding for desert!!!!!Definitely recommend for an easy lunch/ dinner!

I came in today with my two sons without reservations and we were able to get seated fairly quick. I love the friendly environment and their worker Rebecca i believe her name is. She had a very nice attitude and was so friendly to me and my sons. A great conversation holder and was funny. Need more workers like her!! We loved the food, definitely coming again.
Byron makes a great brisket. Always moist and juice. I normally have Lisa but tonight Joseph did a great job keeping tea full and just great service thank you to the team
I come here often. It's close to my work and Costco across the street. I grab food after work or before Costco. Food is good and reliable. Service is always excellent. While I've had no issues with food. Any time there's a problem in the restaurant the staff and managers get it fixed.My go to is the Pork 3 Ways--Dry Rub ribs, and a double of the pulled pork. I alternate between the Mac and Cheese, beans, tater tots, fries and the fried okra is excellent. The crushed ice is great and I get coke or sweet tea.A big shout out to Laura, she's been my lunch buddy (waitress) the last few times. She'll make sure you're well taken care of here!
Amazing service! I was taken care of very nicely. My sweet tea was amazing and stayed filled. The food taste fresh. I love the brisket and chicken they have. I never have to worry about not being taken care of properly or having terrible food. This is the best Sonny’s I’ve been to! I loved my waitress Savannah also. I make sure i get her every time i go. She’s the best!
Had a great meal at Sonny’s in Winter Park as usual. They consistently have great food and our regular server Laura is awesome!! She is always very friendly and has a great personality. I’ve been coming to Sonny’s for over 30 years now and love their great food.
