I enjoyed my birthday dinner at Flemingâs. Our server was nice and I thought it was super cute that all staff members signed a birthday card and put it on the table! Very nice touch to the night!
This Steakhouse is quite classy. I can't say enough good things about their steak, it's top notch! From the moment you enter you feel the elegance and coziness of the room. The ambiance is well suited for their space. They have an open kitchen format, a beautiful tree in the middle of the room and a bar space tucked off to the side away from main dinning. Service was superb and their cuisine and drinks we sublime. I highly recommend the Ribeye or Tomahawk. The flavors were phenomenal! Probably one of the best steaks I had next to Berns in Tampa. I highly recommend a visit and also make reservations ahead of time, they fill up fast for the weekend.
Our server, Sheila, took great effort to make our evening super nice. Her attentive service took a wonderful meal and turned it into a true dining experience. Each item, each course was on point but from the moment we arrived to the moment we left Sheila took such good care of us that it made it perfect. We recently went to another nice place in town that we used to consider to be our #1 and after the experience there and now here we're swapping them out.
Sweet Chilli Crispy Calamari was delicious.20 oz Prime Bone in Ribeye was perfectly seared and it was succulent.Cauliflower mash was surprisingly delicious.Blueberry lemon drop martini was rather addicting.And aahhhh....the dessert...need I say more ?
We have been to this restaurant many times. The last time they undercooked the steak, was sent back then they burnt it. This time the lobster bisque was excellent. The burratta needed salt. The lobster was served without butter, or at they should have offered it. By the time we got it we were almost done. The sea bass was well cooked. Asked for a very dry martini, got a lot of vermouth. Asked for a second one, server forgot, by time I got it was warm. At the end of the meal asked for an expresso. Received REGULAR coffee in an expresso cup! It was burnt too! I make it everyday and had it at the restaurant in the past so I can tell the difference. This is Flemings, excellence is expected. I understand it was busy but cannot be sloppy.
