Of all the First Watch locations in the area, the one on Aloma is our absolute favorite. John (manager) and Jordan (GM) and his team are amazing. My fiancé has a lot of allergies and just about the whole team from front to back has gotten to know what they are and make sure things are safe. Amanda is amazing and we try and sit in her area whenever we can, but even if we can’t we know we’ll have a great and friendly experience whether it’s Jamal, Alex, Mia, Jason…the list goes on. Add to all that, there are so many good food options, keeps us coming back.
First time I came to this place and despite of a long wait (around 1 hour), I can’t deny the service excellence and the quality of the food. If you want to take a good breakfast this restaurant is a must ?
My potatoes were hard and uncooked..I unfortunately have never eaten at this restaurant where something was uncooked. I’m not sure if I will return. Disappointed. I was there with my father who has dementia so it made it hard to fix.
Consistently delicious and beautifully presented food. A wonderful option when you want a comfort food option that is not too unhealthy. You can certainly rack up the calories here, but they have delicious healthy choices when you are minding your diet.
We have eaten at First Watch for years and no matter what location we done the experience is always stellar! The staff are always courteous and attentive. The food is fresh and unique with new breakfast cocktails like the everyone's favorite Mimosa but the Pomegranate Sunrise (Tequila) is a MUST!!!
I like eating at first watch, but this particular one is so freaking freezing inside that I had quit coming. I decided since the weather was cold outside today that perhaps they would not have the air conditioning blowing at Arctic levels. I was wrong. Everyone who came in with a coat on left it on. I just hate when a restaurant is so I was really cold that your food gets cold before you have a chance to finish eating it
First time visiting First Watch and I was given raw/uncooked turkey. I probably ingested some of it since I only noticed half way through and wasn't feeling too good afterwards. Waiter was sweet, I was honest and straightforward without being rude, but manager didn't care to apologize and was nonexistent the entire visit. I paid extra money coming here instead of ihop for higher quality food. I was given raw food so it should've been on the house.
We ate at the Aloma location. There were 6 of us including 1 child. The carafes held coffee that was barely warm, so that was disappointing, but no one in my party complained. It seemed like everyone enjoyed their food. The millionaire bacon was a little lackluster compared to what I e had in the past. I do love the warm berry compote that they serve with french toast, pancakes or waffles. That was probably my favorite part of my meal which was the French Toast. My dad has been going to First Watch since they opened here many years ago and he has never ordered anything other than carrot cake pancakes. He loves them so much he will go by himself to enjoy a meal of them. My mom's salad was HUGE and she took most of it home. Overall it was okay, but if I was choosing a restaurant and footing the bill I wouldn't choose First Watch.
This is probably the worst First Watch in the Central Florida area which is surprising to say considering it is Winter Park. My family and I arrived today Sunday January 9th for brunch and were quoted a 20 minute wait, thankfully it was much faster than that. We were sat at a booth along the right side of the restaurant with a good view of the whole restaurant. That's when it went downhill from there. We were not greeted for fifteen minutes. A male server came by and told us that our waitress will be right with us. Another five minutes pass and a waitress comes up to us, tells us our waitress is too busy so she will be helping us out. Did not introduce herself, did not make any recommendations but asked us to place our orders. We sat there for so long so we were ready and knew what we wanted. The food came out pretty quickly however, no one came up to us after that again. We were waiting on refills, our eggs were extremely greasy and there was a hair in our little one's hot chocolate. No one came up to us. We ate our meal without drinks, a third server bussed our table and my mother requested a water, the server agreed and never came back. We sat there for a little while until I saw the waitress that took our order helping another table and I managed to catch her attention to ask for our check and she replied "I will let your server know" we were baffled and confused because at that point we did not have a server. The initial server that said "your waitress will be right with you guys" was our "server". When Christopher, our "server" dropped our check, my mother requested a water and again that water never arrived. The whole experience was enough to keep us away from this place. Worst service and experience ever!
Me and my mother in law came here for brunch and were the only Barack people there. The host decides to sit us in a corner asap the way in the back right across from the bathroom. I mean you think she’d try to hide her racism. I watched her serve other parties which only had 2 people (Caucasian) and she only looked to serve them in the main dining area. Then when my mother in law said thank you to her she didn’t reply. Definitely not going to let this go because it’s unacceptable. We’re in 2021, darn near 2022! The food was ok and my server was great. I came here on 12/07/2021.
