This is now one of our favorite restaurants. So many vegan options. We’ve had the sheep herders pie, which is their version of shepherds pie it was delicious. Last time I had the meatloaf and couldn’t tell the difference between that and regular meat. The portions are huge.Don’t forget to check out their desserts and milkshakes.
The food was very good. I'm not vegan nor vegetarian, was just looking for something new. My fiance had never been to a vegan restaurant, and this was a decent experience for his first time. The food was quite good, the service however was slooooooow. Our waitress was very nice, friendly, and always had a smile. However it took almost 30 minutes for our appetizer to come out, and an additional 30 minites for our meals to come out. The food was a 4, the time it took for our food to come out was a 1. So I was fair and gave them a 3 star rating. I'd try it again, and hope the food comes out in a more timely manner. ??
This place is AMAZING! Had a friend recommend it to me and I am so happy she did, she told me to for sure try the milk shakes and so I got the strawberry, it was fantastic! The food is so yummy, a little pricy but the food and service made it all worth it! We will definitely be back
I took the Mrs here while we escaped parenthood for a couple of hours to commemorate a special day in our lives. I’m not a vegan and my wife is a vegetarian, but we did have a vegan diet for a while and wanted to try restaurant quality vegan food. The place itself has a cool vibe, loved the Tarzan-like photo stand in. The menu was quite creative and the prices were very fair. Taste wise all was good. We had a really nice potato pancake appetizer, I had a black bean burger and Mrs had a beyond meatloaf and mashed potatoes. My sandwich was flavorful with a few creative elements. I wish the actual patty wasn’t as loose as it was, but still it was good and the fries were tasty. Mrs meatloaf would’ve fooled me, they nailed the taste and texture of great meatloaf. I just am not a fan of the aftertaste of beyond meat, but that’s a personal preference, my wife enjoyed her meal, though she was less a fan of texture and blandness of the enormous slices of the zucchini side. Overall we will go back. Also place is in a great neighborhood right outside Rollins College, so beautiful area to walk off the meal.
Wow! I am not even a Vegan but I probably could be with how delicious this food was. Highly impressed with how superb this place was. Great menu and excellent staff. Will definitely be coming back here again.
First time eating here. Pretty fancy looking vegan restaurant compared to what I’m used to seeing. Love it. I tried the Jerk Chickun Sandwich and my girlfriend had the Chickun Bruschetta Sandwich both recommended by our server Kaleb. Went with mashed potatoes and gravy on the side. Amazing! Had the orange cake for dessert also recommended by Kaleb. Recommendations were on point and loved it all! 10/10 Can’t wait to come back!
One of the worst lunches I have had in a long time. I ordered the sheep's pie. Now this is a vegan restaurant so I expected this dish to be made like Shepard pie but with vegetables, not meat. And that's the way it was. However there was hardly any veggies in the dish. It was just a big plate of over cooked dried up mashed potatoes. It took forever to get to the table and when it did it was terrible. So if you are a vegan, in Winter Park, and hungry...pass this place up. If this dish meets their chef's standards, save your money! It's terrible!
My husband and I went here for our 11 anniversary. I had the meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and roasted vegetables. The meatloaf was the star of the plate it was so delicious. My husband had the jerk chicken sandwich and he said the sauce was so good. For the ride home we got some cookies to go and our favorite were the citrus sugar. We definitely will be coming back !
This is an interesting place with a GREAT menu of vegan options. I had a tasty "chikun" sandwich with bruschetta; my companion had a similar dish. She gave the place 3.5 stars out of 5; I give it a 4. There is cool music playing, a variety of art genres on the walls, beer and wine options, desserts, and the service was very good. It does have a bit of a "dark side" that I couldn't figure out; definitely an alternative crowd working there but I liked it and would go back since the food was very good.
Fresh, flavorful and extremely delicious vegan food. I cannot wait to go back. Lots of seating and great atmosphere. I had the chicken bruschetta sandwich and it was superb! My husband had the jerk chicken which he loved though was too spicy for me. The mashed potatoes and gravy were excellent and the amaretto mousse was so light and creamy. This trip was out of our way but I'm so thankful we went and plan to make the trip back!
