Our huge glazed ring swirl donut was extremely doughy in the middle. The other donuts were just okay, kinda dry, mostly they were raised glazed fancy donuts. The brownies were a little bit dry too, and the cake donut that was blueberry flavored was pretty good. I won't get these donuts again I don't think. We are used to extremely fantastic donuts in Oregon and just moved here, we were trying to find a donut shop but I think we'd rather just get grocery store donuts than these. I filled a large box at this place for $26. Might as well just get some glazed donuts at the grocery store next time.

A very good donut place when they have your favorites in stock. They have an amazing selection of special donut/pastry items (fritters, twists, honey buns, bear claws, etc…). They put the other local donut shops to shame (we won’t name names). My biggest disappointment is when they’re out of flavors I love, like this morning they were out of blueberry cake donuts, which was sad, because they are amazing.
This is now my favorite donut shop. A bit of a drive for us but totally worth it. Large selection of donuts even in the middle of the day.It would be nice if they had more signs on their donuts to indicate what they are. I feel like such a nuisance asking what each donut is since most of them have no name next to them.Regardless, this is my now go-to for donuts. Our entire family loved them including my dad, and he’s hard to please.

Donuts are awesome and customer service is great! I was ordering donuts with DD, but the locations near me are all short-staffed and never had our donuts done on time, even though I ordered them online well before pickup. I started going to donut king about a month ago for my orders, and they haven't disappointed. I order 3 dozen donuts on Saturday for pickup Sunday morning. I pay via card on the phone. I walk in, grab my donuts and walk right back out. Donuts taste great and staff is always friendly. Highly recommend.
Recently, I moved to Orlando from New Orleans. And with my birthday falling on Fat Tuesday, I thought I may have to have a king cake shipped to me from back home. After hearing that The Donut King has king cakes, I went there and Daniel made me a personalized Bavarian cream filled king cake! Outstanding service and delicious king cakes! I am so impressed with this place and definitely will be back! 5/5 ?
I am in Winter Park only every 4 months or so. I wanted a good donut but not from DD or KK. So, I stumbled upon Donut King. I would like to addresssome of the reviews that I read before heading there. It seems as though poor customer service is a common theme with with the bad reviews.As a first time customer, the customer service that I received waswonderful and the counter person was extremely helpful and answered all my questions without issue.As for the donuts, the dough, as other reviewers have suggested is heavier than your typical donut. I prefer a lighter donut, but the heavierdough did not distract from the quality of the donut and I still greatly enjoyed it. The selection was vast, but I am a traditional donut personand go for the old standard filled donuts. Most donuts shops only use asquirt of filling and because of this the donut is not enjoyable. Donut King filled donuts were not only greatly filled but they were larger than your average size donut. I was very pleased with the service and thedonuts were excellent so I will be returning when I am in the area.The one thing I can tell you is to try to get there as early as you can because certain varieties of donuts go fast such as the boston creme.
I came in yesterday morning and was greeted by the cashier and the baker. The cashier was nice and very attentive. The baker you could tell has a love for her food. I asked for a hot donut and she was happy to ice one for me. I got six donuts and honestly they were the best donuts I have ever gotten from there. Associates like this don’t come along often make sure you take care of her.
First time here and we were NOT disappointed. They had so many flavors to choose from and everything was fresh! The staff were very nice and patient with us while we figure out what we wanted. We left just as the crowds started coming through. Being there before 8am on a Saturday seems to be the perfect time. We will Def come back
