The bourbon blackberry lemonade was very good, very happy with the choice and size of the drink. Raspberry pancakes were very tasty, and the eggs were good as well. They were out of their normal grits, their back up (cheese grits) were nothing exciting, but it was a nice brunch. The actual atmosphere is a little claustrophobic and loud. I would definitely come back for drinks, but the food is too expensive.

Very good cuisine. Everything we ordered was really good. Be ware of how much you order the plates are all quite big. You need to come hungry. We came on Father's Day and it was packed, but moved farily quickly. We waited in line for about 30 minutes. The area around is very nice, including the Morse Museum

John Luke was our server on 05/20/2022 & he was amazing! First of all, the vibe was such a vibe here. The music beats were fire! They must have been playing Miami Poolside on pandora.. John Luke knew the menu up & down - he was very detailed in explaining everything to help us decide what to get. He even recommended things to do nearby after we were done eating (we were here on vacation & didn’t know the area). Our conversation was as if we were friends for years. We lucked out with the time we arrived because we got seated right away & we were the only people outside. Whole patio to ourselves :) When we first arrived to Winter Park, we were just strolling down the sidewalk & didn’t know where to stop to eat. I told my brother “when I get the vibe, I’ll tell you.” I instantly got a vibe when I saw Briarpatch & knew we had to eat here. So glad we chose this place. If we ever return to Winter Park, FL we will be eating here for sure!

Had been craving breakfast from the Briarpatch for a few weeks now. Was shocked that we didn't have to wait very long to be seated. I think better signage for where the line to be seated begins would be helpful. Our server was attentive. The food was great as always.

They have the BEST pancakes, hands down. I’m not a pancake person but I’ve come here a couple of times only for their Raspberry Lemon Creme Pancakes. I always suggest this place for birthday brunches, friends outings and recently went with my husband who also loved it. The staff is friendly and the place has a good atmosphere. It’s loud though, so be prepared for that. Otherwise I love this place and always find a chance to visit.

Originally this place put me off because we had to wait in a line outside to get seated. They don't allow reservations or to put your name in, just first come first serve. For a party of 3 at 10:30AM on a Sunday we waited a little over 45 minutes for a table. It might have been a little less, but the second we walked into the establishment we knew we did not want to eat inside. Fair warning, if it's crowded, the inside of this restaurant sounds like a school cafeteria. Idk what everyone was shouting about. It's not big so the tables are also very close together. There is a cute little bar top you can sit at as well but looked uncomfortable. They could do with getting their seating situation under control, - there were several times they took people behind us, and didn't ask if we wanted to sit inside or outside so we had to wait longer because they didn't ask. They had another line inside so we were just standing right behind people eating and were in everyone's way - a few times we were told forcefully to stay on the black mat that ran down the restaurant so as not to be in the way. They could do with setting up a texting system or something to ease that. We ended up sitting outside which was just perfect. We ordered the Kaluha Mocha, Green Tomatos, Fruit Plate with Zucchini Bread Sandwhiches, California Benedict with Breakfast Potatos, and the Pork Belly Waffle. The green tomatos were really good, and the fruit plate was big. The little sandwhiches were delicious, too, the zucchini bread was amazing!! The Kaluha Mocha was disappointing and watery and they also ran out of straws so I had to drink it, whipped cream and all, with no straw, but it was good nonetheless. But let me tell you about the star of the show - that Pork Belly Waffle!! It was scrumptious. The pork belly could be cut with a fork, the waffle was soft but crispy, the eggs were perfectly runny and yolky and the syrup was like a dribble of extra perfection. I wish I could take the first bite of this again. Even as we were leaving we were talking about how good it was. So happy I ordered it. My sister said the California Benedict was fantastic, too, but the potatos were underwhelming. Despite, we all cleared our plates! No room for dessert! Our server was very nice and professional and because they have those cool computers they carry around the food came out so fast and efficient! I'll admit the wait was 100% worth it once you sit down. This was a great little spot and I love that their ingredients are all local sourced. It is a little on the pricier side of mid range but it is worth it. I would definitely reccomend.

The food was delicious, they have some great cooks/chefs in the kitchen. However their prices on their menu will keep me from ever being a return customer.I also don't recommend going here on the weekend or you will be looking for a line out the door.Overall a lovely place, great food, but too expensive for the product they create. The picture is of their Pecan Pie French Toast with apple compote.

Vibe is awesome! Food is amazing! I had the short rib Benedict, yums! My friend has avocado toast…said it was great! Great service. Highly recommend!

Came here with my boyfriend and his college friends, i was meeting them for the first time (not my bf of course). We all know we can get a bit nervous meeting your partners friends and family and this was not the exception. His friend was the one who choose the place (Briarpatch) and i didnt heard of it before cause im new in Orlando. We arrived and we met 2 of them in the line (it was a party of 8), while we were waiting for the others, his friend explained that getting into this place was kinda complicated and the fact that was saturday didnt help. We wait, we got the table and as soon as i entered the place i knew id like it. All the waiters were SO efficient, the place is really beautiful (thers a painting on the right wall that was away too amazing) Dont know how to explain it but if you need a place to meet for the first time someone i think is should be it. Ill be doing the line over and over just to eat their awesome food again, thank you so much guys!

I think I Ate one of the most Greasy Overly priced Hamburgers Ever!!! Brought me the wrong order the first time!!.. The most disorganized Waist Staff (Himbo) .. First Time and Last.. UGH!!
