So glad I found this spot. I had scheduled an event at another local sports bar but was canceled due to staffing issues. I was referred to Arooga's by a friend. On short notice for my event of 40 plus people I spoke with the manager here James. What a professional and hospitable guy. He confidently stated he could take care of my group with no problem. Gave me a choice of seating areas. I chose the large back room that seats probably 80. Big clean open area with an awesome staff to boot. Frankie our bar tender for the afternoon was awesome and kept the service coming. I don't recall the names of our servers assigned us but they took care of our every need with a smile to make our retirement party a huge success. Considering that the intended party size swelled to about 60 the level of service remained excellent. Thanks so much James. This is a top location for your event/party. Highly recommend! Oh and the huge beer selection was impressive. The food very good too.
It was alright. Food wasn't great, AC wasn't great, Service wasn't great, Seating wasn't great, Cleanliness wasn't great. I would say for my particular experience it was not worth it. Our server was nice but wasn't good at her job, i was dry all night. Never came by to see if i needed a refill, stuff like that. The manager looked depressed and he hated his job too. The experience just wasn't worth the price. Mac and cheese is a disgrace to Mac and cheese too. Avoid at all costs. There are better places for the price, Ale House is like 2 minutes away.
Can’t believe I paid for over priced beers all these years at the ale house, and here is a perfect spot for all those wonderful beers for much more reasonable prices.Heard they have generous 1/2 happy hours. What?!I feel cheated all these years not coming to Arooga’s. Good place; good job! ?!!
Food was great, great portions and service would recommend and come back again.
Delicious. Had the pretzel burger. Cooked perfectly. Hubs had the Angus burger. Very good. Son had the chicken tenders. So many, had to get a take out box. Son’s friend had the Nashville chicken sandwich. Loved it. They messed up a small part of my order. No biggie. Had the Big Pretzel. Very good. Overall a pleasant experience. Lexie changed our tv channel at our table for us (can’t stand to watch boxing).
My boyfriend and I were skeptical about eating here tonight because of the food and service we got last time we came which was when covid first started. And now we will really won't be coming back after tonight's service and food given to us. We waited 35 minutes for a burger and wings well done before it came out. And I ordered clay chowder soup and salad and got that like 15 minutes before our food came out. The chowder didn't look appealing and was too salty. We chose this over chili's which is right next door. Definitely going to chili's next time.
What a great place. The wings were perfectly cooked and the tots were extra crispy. Kristina “with a K” was wonderful and she took excellent care with my party. Repeat customer and will come back again.
Easily my favorite spot to catch a Bucs game on Sundays. Food is great and very chill atmosphere. Love the drinks.
Take out order. Missing fajita wraps, soup, and the kids milk. So much was missing and I didn’t realize it until I got home and it was too late. The restaurant was really empty inside so I don’t think they were that busy. Won’t get take from here again. Three stars since the food quality was good though.
