Went on Fathers Day so their brunch was especially packed. We ‘got in line’ digitally from home before we left and it was an 85 min wait. So plan your time accordingly. Once seated it took awhile for our drink order to come and food was even longer but it was worth the wait. Pictured here are the Shrimp Benedict and Cinnamon Roll French Toast. The food was fabulous- fresh, interesting and tasty. Definitely worth a trip and I suggest going on a non-event day.
I arrived around 2 p.m. for brunch. I sat down right away. While the bar and decor were nice, the tables and chairs appeared to be very functional. The place is extremely noisy! With that and the cheap seating, I felt like I was in a food court. The menu was perplexing, with bold letters everywhere and different text sizes. I needed the waitress to explain things to me. The food was delicious, the egg was perfectly cooked, and the pancakes were perfectly soft. Unfortunately, the ambiance was lacking, and the food was nothing out of the ordinary. I'll be hard pressed to return.
I had a great experience here with my friends. We came at a very busy time but we were able to find seats by the bar. The bartenders were very funny and entertaining. And the food and drink were so good. First time here and it won't be my last.
We don’t usually eat at chain restaurants but this restaurant is a MUST! We had excellent service from Taylor and ate at the bar due to the wait time. (Reservation is definitely recommended.) We had the Mardi Gras Omelette (AMAZING!) and the Benedict Burger with cheese grits. I had a delicious Bloody Mary (they have pepper infused vodka)….They sell by the pitcher and they have several flavors for Mimosas. Those definitely seemed the most popular!
I went to broken egg this morning in winter park I called my order 20 min early still got there had to wait I order home fries they have no seasoning just look fried I was disappointed First Watch home fries was better over all there breakfast is great just needs to work on the home fries ☺️
Best breakfast I’ve had in a restaurant in a long time. Good service in a packed house. Didn’t get to enjoy my coffee for eating.
One of our favorite places although it can be difficult to get in on the weekends. The food is superb. Nice Cajun touch to breakfast, and the rotating menu makes it great to keep coming back!
The food, drinks, staff, and service were great! I treated myself to brunch after getting a massage on my day off. I had been looking forward to those pancakes for days. Honestly, I would've given 5 stars, but I packed up my to-go food and just completely forgot to bring it with me. I walked across the street to Publix to get something and wasn't gone 30 minutes, and they had already thrown my food out. I barely ate half of those pancakes because it's so much and was looking forward to eating the leftovers the next day. I had actually gone to Publix to get sausage and eggs to go with it in the morning. In this economy, for them to so carelessly throw away some food I had already paid for and clearly forgot was very disappointing. Nobody even offered to replace at least 1 pancake either.
great bfast and Nick is awesome server! if you don't go here, you are missing out !!
Best Brunch, Best Bacon, Best Bloody Mary! From sweet to savory, ABE’s got something for everyone, add a full liquor bar and a nice outside dining area, and your looking at a serious contender for “best local brunch.”Try the Baquezo Omelet with a side of City Grits and a stack of Carrot Cake Pancakes if you want a tasty flavor experience. And don’t forget the bar ;-)
