Ordering on the app for us hasn't been the best of experiences for the last 3 times. Either not putting in the correct sides of salsa, lettuce , cheese etc. After sitting outside for 30 min in curbside parking you have to call them to ask where your food is?? And twice now we've gotten all the way home and our orders were wrong making it too late to go back so you're stuck with something you don't like or simply what you didn't want. I used to eat here all the time but I think I'll just stick to the Orlando one when we're down there.
We tried this place a few weeks ago. Our queso left out and a few sauces left off our burrito. We tried again today, everything on the burrito and queso in the bag. My husband had the shrimp and fish tacos he loves them. My daughter not a fan or and quesadillas. The shredded chicken not her liking. Overall great experience and good food.
It's all chips barely any real food ? the Tijuana Flats was way better in Lakeland. Said something and the staff was like okay let me know if you need anything else, totally disregarded what we had mentione. Completely sorry I picked this place it was unacceptable and waste of money!
Continuing my birthday week shaningans, I redeemed my offer for a free dessert. The two choices were Fried Cookie Dough Flautas or Fried Churrk Bites. I went with the Cookie Dough because I am "Cookie Monster's" brother.From the moment I entered, there was not a long wait and I was greeted with a smile by multiple staff. The cashier explained that I would just need to give her the redemption code from the Tijuana Flatts official app.I ordered it to go and it came out freshly fried. They tasted as delicious as I remember. The tortilla had a nice, crisp texture that contrasted greatly with the gooey, chocolate chip cookie dough. This was all I ordered, since I had lunch already.The restaurant was very clean, new signage has-been installed since our last visit about one year ago. We went to Tijuana Flats for Taco Tuesday and after reading a review recommending the “mega” tacos we ordered those. My husband ordered 3 and I ordered just the 2 tacos. We were surprised by the size of each taco. Ended up, we couldn’t even eat them all. Excellent service and food. I’m ready to go again!
This place has fallen off a cliff… the food and service used to be great. Now it’s a different story, wait times are terrible and the food is just as bad. Until they get different management, I’d recommend passing on this place.

Large portions! Even the kids meals were sizeable. Very reasonably priced. Wide range of sauces. Guac and salsa were super fresh. We sat outside on the covered porch area and enjoyed the weather. Draft beer available for the grown ups.

Great burritos and tacos, lots of flavor. They have special on Tuesdays. Strawberry lemonade goes well with the meal. You can choose which toppings you want for either meat or vegetarian.
