At breakfast it is crowded. They have good breakfast what do you expect. Dinner was the surprise to me. Great food. Better than Sonny's. Cole slaw not drowning in dressing. Even had a salad bar. My only complaint on the is can mushrooms. Would of liked fresh. The night I was there had bacon and potato soup. That was tasty as well. Responsible pricing great service. What else do you need.
I have been in Winter Haven since 2013 and they are minutes from my house. Initially I was not impressed with their BBQ but changed my mind after a few visits. Last year I stopped for breakfast and I was very happy I did. They make their own breakfast sausage and smoke sausage. It is the best I have had in any restaurant. I am a lover of blueberry pancakes and after trying theirs I will also say it was the best I have ever had. I am 71yo so I have tried a few. The pancakes are fluffy and absolutely filled with fresh blueberries. The most I have ever seen anywhere. The staff is friendly and the service is prompt. Prices are reasonable as they can be in these times. Give them a try.
My wife and I come to Shacks every Sunday morning for breakfast. Delicious food and great people make this place our favorite. Hope to enjoy many more breakfasts here.
Hadn't been here in years, it was really good. Also, one of the only places around with a salad bar. Hope to be able to try breakfast soon.
Ordered the full slab Baby Back rib dinner, $24. It WAS horrible. Dry and could not even pull them apart. They looked yellow and tasted like they dipped them in hot oil to cook. Will not return.
Great food, Great price!I got the Large biscuits and gravy, and a pepsi. Very reasonable price and a huge portion of food. Their sausage patties are homemade.Breakfast ends at 11am
Great food and service - definitely worth the trip for authentic BBQ. Will be returning soon. Had sliced pork, slaw and beans. Fried green tomatoes were amazing.
Service was very slow for the amount of people who where there vs the customer ratio. Extremely long wait after we sat down to just get a waitress to bring a menu. Another wait to order. Very long time before our food came to the table. Others who sat down after our party were served and close to leaving by the time we got our food. Sweet tea was bitter, also has slick feeling after taste. Don't recommend this place at all.
Stopped in for Breakfast for the first time yesterday after being told this was the best breakfast in town. & I AGREE!! It was busy & jam packed but it was comfortable.
Delicious BBQ, great wait staff and No wait time. We went after spending a day at Legoland. My son always asks for something to color and they had 3 full coloring books to choose from. Everyone was happy with the food and we had leftovers. Had a pleasant conversation with a 94 year old man eating alone. We’ll definitely be back! Their own bbq sauce is fabulous as well!!
