at how tasty the food was. We have had a difficult time trying to find great Mexican food in florida but we were pleasantly surprised at how tasty the food was. Homemade tortillas are always the best. The regular salsa that comes out is very mild but if you want something hotter, just ask your server and they will bring a bowl of hot sauce. I got chicken fajitas which came out blistering hot (yes!) And my husband got the San Diego plate which was a mixture of 3 different meats. We will definitely be back. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars (personal reasons) was the chips were cold and extremely hard. The beans and fajitas didn't have much flavor. Once I added salt and hot sauce it was great!

I specifically asked if their shredded chicken was white meat, was told yes, I spent most of my meal picking out the very dark meat out of my burrito. I can't stomach dark meat chicken. If I had been told, I would have ordered something different and enjoyed my meal. Very disappointed. Was hoping to have an enjoyable meal. I even told the waitress, and just an " I'm sorry" was offered.

Seems like every time my familyand I visit this place, the food isgreat, the staff is friendly, and oh those Mexican love songs!If you want authentic Mexicanfood, you've gotta try San Diego's. You'll be glad you did!
The food was great. The hostess on the other hand was terrible. She couldn't tell us a wait time. I waited to be seated for 30 minutes just to have her seat someone who came in 27 mins AFTER me!!! I then asked to speak with a manager and one never came to see me. Absolutely a horrible visit.
Stopped in for a late lunch on the way home. Very nice atmosphere, friendly wait staff and good food. We were seated immediately as they weren't busy even though it was only 1 pm and it's a Saturday. The waitress was attentive, friendly, but not overbearing. She took our orders after a few minutes and our food came out very quickly. We had the quesadilla fajita with chicken and the Carne Salsa Roja. Both were delicious, piping hot and smelled amazing. We very much enjoyed our lunch and look forward to stopping in again.
My husband and I have been going here since they first opened and have never been disappointed in anything!!! They have burrito mexicano burritos and we've being getting them once a week at lunch time. They are great, the service is great and they have just updated all their tables and booths& it looks Fantastic!!! They have great prices and the food is ALWAYS EXCELLENT!!!! It's a GREAT place for mexican food, you won't go wrong here!!!
1st time...Greet and seat was quick.Salsa was good, the hot is hot!Fajitas were very flavorful.Service was a bit off tempo, (entree was tepid) but she did just squeak by.Good and hot jalapeno poppers.Nice patio with great sunset.Decent price.
