Best tacos in Polk county! I come here nearly every day. Owner is a great guy too!

Found this place on Google after my daughter's college softball games, and decided to give it a try after reading such great reviews. This place did not disappoint! The owner, Pops, greeted us and was very friendly. We read the menu, then he made a couple recommendations after we asked for some. We chose the pork egg rolls (incredibly tender pork!), which came with BBQ sauce for dipping. We also ordered brisket tacos and chicken tacos that had a different name... I just can't remember what they were called. Those were delicious. The brisket taco had mozzarella cheese in it, and also came with a dipping sauce, as well as a sauce that was pretty hot. The flavors were incredible. We ate inside, and Pops even stopped by our table to check on us and see how the food was. Indoor seating is limited, and I called ahead to find out if they had room, as we'd been out on the softball field all day and were done with the sun. Visit this place if you get the chance... the food reasonably priced, very tasty and authentic!
The Birria tacos were delicious!!! Pop is great man with a nice vibe. I really appreciate the hospitality and definitely the recommend. Thanks!
I drove from.Haines City just to try their Birria tacos for the first time. Gotta say I loved them! Jacs Sauce is amazingly good. And the owner, " Pops" is a GREAT guy! Very personable. Loves to interact with his customers, and remembered me from my phone order!My go to Mexican dish is a chimmichanga, and let me tell you I've NEVER had a better one!
I've NEVER had Birria tacos before, but heard theirs are the BEST! As not having a prior benchmark, these are now my level bar! When I first saw them, was a bit disappointed as were pressed. As I've since learned, this is traditional though. Was not disappointed in taste though! Came with a side cup of "broth" to dip in. As I understand traditional to be covered in, but preferred dipping. "Pops" the owner is VERY personable! Give them a try and find out fir yourself! they do have VERY limited hours, so call in your order in advance!
Firstly no I am not a bot. This food was amazing and this was my first time eating there plus it was delivered to me and Lake Wales by DoorDash. I’ve never had Birria tacos until today and they were everything that I hoped they would be and that Jacs sauce is die for! Definitely will be eating there again soon if not this week lol
Delicious taco meat is finely chopped steak I didn't notice it wasn't ground beef taste fresh 1ST visit and I met Pop very friendly genuinely caring man you know he wants to take care of his customers my son been going for awhile and loves this place. Give them a try you won't be disappointed I told him what I was looking for in my meal and he customized exactly what I desired.
I don't have a photo for the food I got because I basically swallowed them whole. Today was my first time trying this restaurant and MAN!!! I have nothing but wonderful things to say. Pop introduced himself to my boyfriend and I and told us all about their quesabirra tacos that they are known for. His description sounded so delicious that we couldn't pass them up. We each got the quesabirra dinner. OMG these were probably the BEST tacos we have ever had in our lives!! They were full of brisket and the juice to dip them in was so flavorful!! If I wasn't so full I would already be back for more. We will definitely be returning customers!!
