Food was good, service was good. However, I’m giving this three stars. While we were dining we witnessed the most egregious display of workplace harassment. There was a disturbance due to a server not cleaning her tables/counter in a timely manner. Another server named Lucy decided to take it upon herself to get the other server to clean up. However, she did not do it in a professional manner, she yelled at the server asking if she was ever going to clean up the mess. She didn’t leave it at that though. She continued by oinking at and calling the other server a pig and pushing her nose up at her. Lucy was relentless. She then began calling the other server an infection and kept telling her to get away from her so she wouldn’t catch the infection. She continued this loud and incredibly disrespectful and unprofessional behavior until we left. It was extremely uncomfortable for us as customers and I’m sure for the server being harassed. I’m not saying the the server was in the right for leaving her section a mess but there is a right way to talk to people and there is a wrong way. Lucy chose the wrong way.
Delicious omelets, coffee, and service. Our waitress was the best!
My family and I dined here on Feb 23rd after a long day at Legoland. The server was very attentive and our food was quick and delicious. I ended up losing my wallet there and didn't realize it until the next morning, when we were already 2 hours away. By the grace of the universe, we drove back and the manager had it safein the office! He said they were even going to start searching online for me to get it back to me safe. It was such a relief knowing there are good people in this world (all cash and cards were still in the wallet) and especially since we are visiting from NY! We are able to get on our flight home.Thank you to the great staff at this location ?
Everything was as I expected. Good service, delicious breakfast, clean place, as every IHOP I've been. The only wired thing was where the entrance is placed. They should put a big and obvious sign, letting the customers know that the entrance is in the left side of the restaurant, because you can't see it.
meal was good & servers were friendly
We first discovered this IHOP while Rving in 2001 and have continued to patronize it since and every time we are in Winter Haven. This is an older IHOP but it is always clean and the servers are working hard to keep up with the orders and service. We have never had a bad experience while dining here both for dinner or breakfast. The parking lot is very small and tight because it is attached to an adjoining motel.
We had a great time. Breakfast was delicious, our server Lucy was great. She went above and beyond to make our experience wonderful. Definitely recommend and definitely come back.
Food and service were on point. This place has is much better than it used to be. I avoided this location for awhile. I'll be back.
We showed up to eat breakfast. They told us a 15-20 min wait. We asked if we could sit at the bar and was told no one would be sitting at the bar. A few minutes later a Caucasian couple comes in and asks to sit and the bar and they are told they can. I asked the hostess why that happened, she said they slipped past her and she was going to move them. A couple of minutes later I look and see that have a water and place setting. My wife asks and she tell her the same thing and the hostess says that someone served them not her. However, if no one would be seated at the bar why would they be served?
Family and I went here after a Church Play for Christmas. This location is very small, and its on the property of a "Run down motel" which while I was outside, I noticed a suspicious which I think a "drug activity", sumone came from the hotel to a car parked in IHops parking lot, person got in for less then 2 mins, got out, went back to the hotel and the car left. But our server, and other servers that helped us (we had a party of 8) wad very friendly and food was great.
