They used to be a great place to eat but it has gone down hill in the food area. The servers they used to have dressed well in western style. Cowboy boots, button up shirts and cutoff short short jeans . Not the girls look like cheap streetwalkers. It like they try to cut them off like a thong. No manage quality it has become just a hang out for guys. Not a family sports bar. For quality has gone down. Prices gone up. Will not go back. We use to go there once a week but no more.

Been here several times, normally good value, but what I saw today at 8pm in there when the management was apparently not around will cause me not to come back, ever. There was a customer with a full-grown pit bull at the bar window area who was being allowed to have their dog at the window eating food off the plate with his paws and dog's face up on the food bar. This was witnessed by all the servers on the floor and several customers, and here are the pictures. As time went by, the dog was allowed to have all four paws up on top of the bar. That is completely unacceptable in a food establishment. Totally inappropriate.Pretty sure this is a basic HACCP violation. Dog is contaminating napkins and surfaces and employees are touching it. Cross contamination hand washing issues, lots of liability brewing here.Enforce county and state health codes and get a policy to have no animals in the restaurant. That's something that's normally reserved for the animal nut weirdos in places other than Florida. I do not even eat at restaurants where they allow dogs to sit up at the eating surfaces. Not cool in any place, anywhere, any time.Beware. Plenty of other nice places to eat in Winter Haven without this disgusting behavior.

I just ate here the other night with my boyfriend. The service started out great. The waitress had mentioned she was new, which was fine. We received our food in a decent amount of time. The fried fish was good, the fries were good, but our hush puppies were doughy in the middle, the waitress got us new ones and they even added an extra hush puppy for the wait. The food was great. Sadly halfway into our service, we noticed at the bar that leads to the outside that there was a pitbull on the counter literally eating off this guys plate, two paws on the bar, most of the waitresses went over and petted and loved up on the dog, none washing their hands afterwards and then bringing out food and other drinks to customers. Yikes.. if we got just as much attention as this guy and his dog did, maybe we wouldn’t have had to wait 20 minutes to get a spoon to eat our ice cream. Note that we never got that spoon, after asking the waitress 3 separate times. We decided to take the ice cream with us. Just to add a cherry on top, as we go to pay, my boyfriend literally had to do the math for them to figure out his military discount on the receipt, cause they were going to overcharge him for the food. This was my first experience here. My boyfriends been here several times, unfortunately maybe the last, not only does he have a phobia of dogs but seeing that just sent him. Seriously dogs eating off plates at the bars? I thought dogs were allowed in but only on the ground? I’ve worked in food service management for well over 8 years and I’m positive that’s breaking health and safety regulations. The paws were on the counter…

The girls who work there are fantastic but 30 dollars for a pitcher of IPA, forget it.

Just picked up some take out. We ordered 20 wings, and two fish n chips. The fish was extremely small. About 8 inches long and 3 inches wide, fries were very soggy. The wings were supposed to be half medium half honey garlic and they came completely plain. Waited 45 minutes for the food as well. Definitely dissatisfied with what we received for the price and wait time. The staff however was very friendly and the girl behind the bar was very welcoming. Not their fault of course for food timing and quality.

Had a really nice time here. Our server was fantastic and the food was really good. Nice wings and sauce flavor. Food was a little overcooked or probably would have given 5 stars.

Went to the Winter Haven site. If you like to drink alcohol then this is for you. But, as far as food wise I give it 10 ?.Human Hair on my shrimp. Husband ordered the chicken fajita and it was sad looking. A few pieces of chicken, a few slices each of onions and green pepper. Tortillas were cold.Daughter had the steak fajita they too weresad looking. Same as chicken fajitas. We were very disappointed. Won't be back. Prices were too high for what you get!!

From the initial walk-in it was already off to a bad start. Our group waited 5 min before anyone would even walk over to the stand to seat us (There was only 2 other guests in the building at the time so it was not busy). After we were finally sat the table was absolutely sticky filthy with residue from the last guests. We placed our order immediately after our waitress took our drink orders and even with this location nowhere near busy we proceeded to wait an hour for our food to even hit the table (now although the food was cooked correctly, the wait time was ridiculous). This is not a good look for Dukes as we have been to other locations and had a night and day experience compared to over here.

Dukes Brewhouse in WinterHaven, I’ve never eaten there before but I heard they have some good wings. I would not recommend this place. Only one waitress, she was good but being the only one , you can guess it took a long time to even start placing our orders, had to send back 4 or 5 entrees. Some choose to get something different and a couple of people said never mind and didn’t order anything after sending their food back. 3 of those people got the same dish, it was cold and pasta undercooked. Someone replaced their meal with some type of burger, it was edible but no mayonnaise, no lettuce. Two of the childrens boneless chicken bites were disgusting, looked like they need to change their grease and it didn’t taste good. The wings were average, nothing to get excited about, could have gotten wings from fast food just as good. We had reservations and there was about 22 of us and I never even got a refill on my drink and neither did anyone else. My brother got a fish sandwich that was ok, could have gotten a fish sandwich from fast food just as good and way less expensive. They were out of hush puppies, so they sent him a very small size of wilted under cooked onion rings limp onion rings. The service from the waitress was good but slow, not her fault. I felt bad for her, we complained but we did not take it out on her or make her feel bad because she was doing good for it to be only her and all the complaints we had. We tipped her well and told her we knew it was not her fault. I would not recommend this place. That’s my opinion and my review of this place.

Monday evening I stopped in at Duke’s for the 1st time. I walked in and no one was at the hostess stand, so I waited a minute or two and then walked in and sat at a high top in the middle of the first dining area. The bartender appeared to be busy with 5 or 6 men at the bar, there were a few tables in the seating area behind the bar, and one table of 5 or 6 people in the serving side I was in. There were 4 servers sitting at a table close to the entrance to the kitchen rolling silverware and chatting. In the 5 minutes I sat at the high top, not one person acknowledged I existed. Two servers walked past me a few times, on their way to tables they were already serving. As a former server, I understand being busy, and the importance of connecting with customers that have not yet been helped, just to say, I see you and know you are here, I will be with you in a moment.Unfortunately, that was not my experience, and 7 minutes after setting foot in the restarting for the first time, I understood the service I would receive if I stayed, so I left.It is clear to me this restaurant will not be in business for much longer and must be losing money, as the servers had no pride in the business and it showed. The dining rooms were dirty, overstaffed, no enthusiasm, and completely void of atmosphere. Lot’s of tvs but the only audio was a low music source, not any of the tv’s audio, and even the people at the bar seemed sad to be there.Good luck to anyone that chooses to try this place out, but I will cross this one off my list of possibilities.
