Great food service was a little slow
Myself and my friend Debbie at at store on Cypress gardens Blvd. Saturday Evening around 7:30 pm. The food was spot on and the service was very personalble, our waitress was a cheerful young lady named Felicity. I had noticed her working the grill too. This young lady in my opinion will go far with Denny's. She was a pleasure to talk with. All in all a very nice experience had by us. We will come back again, thank everyone involved. Workers here are lovely. Great experience my meal was amazing. I had immediate service and my table worker made sure I had everything I needed. Nothing was missed couldn’t have had a better experience will be returning. Workers here are all deserving of tips and large ones at that. Just lovely people. Especially one person there name was Felicity they were truly a strong asset to the place and made the place just that little bit more comfortable.
It took 40 min. From time of order to get food. When did come they didn't have any clean silverware so they gave us plastic.The food was hot and good when we got it but the table of 7 next to us was cussing like a sailor about the time it took for their food to come and the cook that cooked it. They sent back steak 3 times. There were a lot of empty tables in the restaurant? Not real busy.
I use to come here rather often, and it was pretty good. Now that I’m back I see that there’s not. Much business but the food and such is the same. The service was great too. Even though the lobby was rather quiet, I was still impressed my food was out in 10 minutes and I ordered a good deal. The night chef is amazing. The server I had was great too! I missed her name but she had reddish hair with blonde in it. My drink was always full and she wasn’t overbearing yet still checked on us. I hope to see the night staff around. It’ll keep me coming back! (Wish there was silverware though. We just got plastics.)
Admittedly the history of service here has been shaky at best, but today I had an excellent experience. Between the expediency of being sat and waited upon to the speed at which the meal was prepared and served. The food was "eggsellent" and my server was very attentive and a great conversation starter. Props to Felicity for being an amazing waitress! Give that girl a promotion!
My family and I eat here frequently and always seem to have a good experience. There is a bit of a wait sometimes, but that is to be expected with the staffing issues plaguing the industry. The manager can often be seen working just as hard as the servers and other staff and brings the whole place together by leading by example. My fiancé also delivers for a food delivery service and often picks up orders here and the management and staff are always helpful and attentive. My family and I will continue to frequent this location and support those that work in our community.
This was the worst experience we have had at a Denny's. The server never apologized for the order taking almost an hour to arrive, the accuracy of my order I particular was not 100%, and no refills were offered.To begin, the restaurant was a little busier than usual, but not packed like pre-COVID years. I went in with my free birthday coupon since it falls on this month. You get a Triple Double Slam. It comes with two pancakes, two eggs (any style), and bacon or sausage. I asked to upcharge my pancakes to the chocobanana flavor. It was $3 more. My wife wanted cinnamon pancakes, so she went with that combo.Being vegetarians we asked them if they could swap out the meat for at least a biscuit and they said meat can only be subbed for meat, and potatoes for potatoes. Well we said, just don't serve the bacon.They got my wife's correct with no bacon, but decided to leave mine on. I didn't eat it. Our sever never apologized for this or the fact that it took over 40 minutes for the food to arrive! It is not like we were sitting at a packed Disney World restaurant, where a long wait is expected.The only good thing that came out of this was the food was tasty and most of it was hot, like the eggs. The pancakes were a little warm, but still were delicious.
