Pretty good food with the custard as an added bonus. I like how they have different choices and not just burgers! The person who waited on us barely spoke a word( must be the new generation- I guess she expected a text jk....) while we were waiting for our food, a very nice older lady came up to us & asked if we saved their coupons & did I know about their program- none of which anyone before ever told us about & she gave us an extra bag. So! Wisconsin cheese curds are awesome along with the custard with flavor of the day. No one ever introduces themselves anymore so I don't know who to thank! Their desert menu is pretty intense so leave room.
It was good, but I ordered a gluten free bun and the burger came withe the cheese stuck to a cardboard tray.
We don't do a lot of fast food so maybe that's rhe problem but we will not be going back to this location. We walked in, were greeted by a polite man, told someone would be right with us. We were looking over the menu, no one was behind us during this entire exchange. Explained we had never been there before. I ordered a cheeseburger, onion rings, mushroom Swiss burger, & cheese curds. Cashier asked if we wanted a drink I said yes. She puts one cup on the counter & pointing to the menu wall asked if we wanted the basket? I said no because we wanted onion rings & the basket showed fries. We had been looking for soup on the board but couldn't find it. I happened to look to the right & found it on another wall. Ordered soup. She then turned to me and asked didn't I want anything to eat? I again went over my portion of the order. She repeated the entire order back twice in a very fast, quiet voice. We could not understand what she was saying. This entire process took about 5 minutes going back & forth. I was ready to leave but he was hungry. Got our food, no onion rings. Checked the receipt, none on there. I had ordered them at least 3 times. His soup was very good. His burger was okay, but he said all he could taste was butter & grease. Mine was crispy, crunchy, & so dry I quickly emptied my drink. The curds came with no sauce, no offers of sauce, & appeared to be not done enough. The place was very clean. We did hear others complaining about the ordering process. There was loud music, employee chatter, & other noises coming from the back so maybe the cashier couldn't hear. Who knows. After watching the commercials & reading all the positive reviews we were very disappointed.
First time eating here. Met my brother there for lunch because he recommended them. They have a very large menu of different foods to order. We had two double butter burgers with fries and drinks. $16 not too bad for lunch. Food was hot and very good. Will definitely eat at Culver's again.
What I like about Culver's is they always the freshest and best tastiest food but it's could be a while sitting down waiting for them to bring it out. Even only just ordering a custom made concrete mixer [frozen custard] can be over a 5 minute wait. I used to go there after work so expect short wait times from time to order and getting the food served. At least their wait times aren't as bad as you would get from McDonald's. Also staff here are also friendly and very courteous and do apologize if you waited a while. Also they constantly wipe down tables and chairs so you are always sitting in a clean dining room at anytime of day. The restrooms are also very clean. I'm really glad that they expanded here in Winter Haven in late 2019 and opened during the late part of Winter of 2020.
I would like to give 4.5 stars. I ordered take out and the food was great as far as burgers and fries ? goes. also tried the onion rings! there's a white cheddar cheese dip for the fries that's yummy. my only complaint is length of time for the drive thru..15 minutes is too long!
Extremely clean and bright inside. Food was hot and fresh. Staff was very engaging and seemed genuinely interested in making our visit pleasant. We had 2 burgers and split three sides with a drink and it was barely over $20. We will be back.
I like Culver's generally and have eaten at quite a few different ones. However, tonight my wife and I waited 20 minutes for a 3 butter burger order. And then had to go to the counter to ask about our order, which came out 3 minutes later... partly incorrect. Not sure what the problem was but it seemed rather disorganized behind the counter. This was at 7pm and inside was not busy. Hopefully this was just a temporary glitch and will be gone next time we come to enjoy their butter burgers.

It is one of the best fast food restaurants, on par with the service at Chick Fillets. The fish sandwich was thick, lightly battered, and delicious. The fries are thick and done perfectly without added salt or other "enhancements."The tab came to $10.00 for the meal special, and since it was noontime, not dinner, we shared the giant sandwich.Culver's is not only well staffed, but they actually met us at the door and held it open for us! I was so surprised that I asked the young lady whether it was a customary practice. She stated that if the place isn't busy, they attempt to greet customers at the door. How unusual in these times. 10 STARS!
