I haven't been to checkers in years.... Wow things have digressed. The hamburgers shrank, the amount of fries reduced, the inconvenience of using the right window then carefully maneuvering through the small parking lot to go in the left window to pick up the food (even though the no one was behind me), and lastly the fact I had to give my credit card to cashier as opposed to a touch less system. After thinking about it the only reason I'm giving this location a two star is because of the convenient location. My kids were hungry and I was easily able to pop in.
Stopped in April 20th around 11:15 a.m.. I did not leave the drive-thru until nearly noon. I called into the restaurant because I could not get out of the drive-thru at that point to see if the person at the drive-thru window was broken down because the drive-thru was not moving at all. The person that answered the phone said that she was the only person working. I could not get out of drive-thru and I had food from another restaurant to go to a different person. I had to leave the drive-thru as soon as possible but I sat there more than 45 minutes. Poor management decision to even open the drive-thru or the doors knowing that she did not have staff. She should have put called her boss. And put signed into windows not open due to lack of staff. I will never go there again.
I am not one to complain. I ran restaurants for years but the food was horrible. 2 Chicken bite boxes is what we bought. The large box at that.. chicken tasted like rubber fake chicken. Service was terrible. I would rather eat Ramen noodles then this garbage. Between the food and service I can't believe I spent almost 30 dollars on trash. Stay away from this place.
Checkers is ok . But there milkshake machine seems to be down alot !! .. best Banana shakes there is... Try one .. yummy yummy ..
After getting off of work, my husband & I decided to stop at Checkers to get a couple of cheeseburgers. It was 10:35 pm and there was a long line at the drive-thru so we decided to walk up to the window. There were 2 people ahead of us and they got their food. We stood there for 10 minutes while the staff continued to ignore us.After handing food to the person in front of us,one of your stellar employees (black woman)looked directly at us as she vigorously slapped aSign on the window saying ‘walk up window is closed’ and slammed the window and then walked away.Unacceptable and rude are two words that come to mind. If this place has a manager, they may want to train their employees on how to provide good customer service.Ignoring a customer, then staring at them as she puts a closed sign up during operating hours is totally unacceptable.
The prices went up a bit. Signs still say lower pricesFood is good. Employees not so bright.
As I walked up to the window I see all the employees looking at me while they were seating down and chatting they get up and I noticed them walking away and pretty not wanting to take my order, one of them finally came to window looking at me and just turned around and started talking to the other team members with out even acknowledging me.I just walked away , did not wanted to be served with a bad attitude, lost a customer, I went bought a pizza next door instead.
Worst place ever. Never gone through the drive thru and had my order correct. Lily is the worst for the drive thru window
First and last visit! I waited 20 MINUTES in the online order line. I was the only car there, while the drive through and walk up orders kept moving. I FINALLY get my (apparently complicated) order of 3 tenders and a large fry. Got home and the fries were only half full and cold.
Apparently the combos come in sizes small medium and large. However the menu does not reflect those options. So when you order a combo they automatically charge you for the large. Which means no difference in the size of the sandwich just the size of the drink and fries. Also the walk up line is way slower than the drive thru!
