It's a very "at home" feeling and the food is always delicious. My kids love it and I have to admit it's become one of our favorite places to dine at.

Thursday, April 28th we ate at Big Tom's Diner just outside of Auburndale. . . .The one plate is pulled pork, fries, & chees; the other plate is/was meatloaf with black eyed peas, and the third plate has greens, green beans and more black eyed peas - no we could not eat all of this! Excellent food! A huge menu - so many choices. Fantastic service. Prices are too low for the quality and quantity of the food! We'll be back!
Had to change my 3* down to 1* after 5 years...They have a sign out front that reads "Voted Best Dinners in Town"Don't know who was doing the voting or HOW LONG AGO that was but I TOTALLY DISAGREE ?DON'T ORDER THE MEATLOAF OR MASHED POTATO LIKE SUBSTANCE ‼️‼️‼️?
This seems to be a hidden local gem. It's not a fancy diamond but the food was great and portions were more than enough to satisfy the largest of appetites. I had a full rack of ribs which were juicy, tender and yummy.This is a family friendly place with a menu spanning from breakfast (all day) to dinner and deserts. Seems to be very popular with the senior crowd too.

Be prepared for a short wait and have an empty belly cause you will get a lot of food for your buck! It’s so good you don’t want to stop eating! Staying locally for my kid's sports event, I got takeout. One bite and I opened the sandwich. This is a grilled ham and (what looks like a partial, light skim coat of mayo) swiss on rye. I went out later to do some errands and I stopped back in and showed a young gal manager who (after I told her what it was) said, "I don't know what I'm looking at." The place was packed for lunch when I was there. Must be a fluke, but the reaction by the manager was the kicker. After the manager and I were done talking, the very young hostess chimed in with, "I'd be upset too." Recommendation? Switch those two employee's roles.
We ate there for the first time today. My wife got the Sea Food platter and said it was excellent. Salads came with the meal, while simple they were great, Ranch Dressing was extremely good. I got the meatloaf. The Mashed Potatoes were good, as were the Broccoli. I wanted a biscuit and had to pay extra for it, but it was very big and tender.The Meatloaf was the worst I have ever tried to eat, I quit trying less than halfway through. It tasted like they used Liver in their Meatloaf, perhaps they didn’t, but it tasted like Liver. Unless you like Liver, don’t order the Meatloaf.We will go back, but going to try the Two Crab Cake dinner next time, my wife loved her Crab Cake. Our waitress was very good.
We come here often for diner while visiting Winter Haven and it still is a great place to eat. The portions are large and usually hot but not always. The inflation has finally hit here too as most dinner items have gone up from $8 to just under $10. This is still one of the few and best dinner places to visit and we recommend it.
