The amount of food they serve is great for the price, the service was great. Their "longer than usual" time was faster than most places, especially for the quality of food being served
Oxtail was okay even though the pieces were kind of small with not much meat. The ribs were only fair with this mustard sauce. The mashed potatoes tasted like instant and not home made. The baked beans tasted kind of strange.
Big daddies in winter heaven is just to die for!! There very kind, quick and delicious ? I moved to Polk county and this brought me back to my childhood! Thank you big daddies!!! I'll be coming back over and over again!
Food is great. Flavorable. Portions size are good for the price. Friendly service. Seating is screened in porch picnic tables only or takeout. We sampled a variety of items and sides. Ribs with Carolina sauce, fried catfish and shrimp, collards.... Even tried curried goat which was something I haven't had before. I like it all would definitely recommend with the ribs and catfish at the top. Warning on curried goat. Lots of bones to eat around/off, but I think that is just the way it is done. Have lots of leftovers and an extra order of pulled pork to go for later. Yum! Really good homemade teas and lemonade ?
Had pulled pork with collard greens and baked macaroni and cheese . IT WAS SO DELICIOUS!!!! Ordered drive thru with friendly service. Food was ready in a reasonable time. This is my new favorite barbeque spot! ?❤️????
Shrimp boil was good...had, corn, potatoes and hard boil egg...added sausage which was a little extra. The only suggestion would be to clean the Shrimp a little better.
Best bbq ever. Amazing meat. Super nice gal at the counter. That said, a meal I specifically asked how long it would take to prepare took over 45 minutes rather than the quoted 10-15 minutes. My kids were reeeeally hungry. Food is outstanding if you don't mind waiting for it!
Value of product served not worth price. Sausage and hamburgers were over cooked and dried out. Bbq pork was decent but you've had better.
SLOW! Also...I ordered a BBQ chicken sandwich. What I got was 4 pieces of chicken and 2 pieces of bread. My next trip there I asked about thatand they said that is what they consider a sandwich. Really!!
I was bummed they were out of pulled pork so I got the catfish it was amazing melted in my mouth and the young lady that took my order was absolutely polite
