Had dinner with my friend. Our hostess was quite cordial and professional. The meals were delicious, however, there was an issue that was resolved without pause. The manager came out to ensure our satisfaction with the matter. I submit that we were completely satisfied and highly respect this establishment. My Kudos to the management and personnel. Exceptional!!!
Applebee's is an old favorite of mine. Located on Cypress Gardens Blvd in Winter Haven the location is excellent. The food and service are what you would expect. My visit was on a Saturday night and it was very busy. Seated in the bar area but not at the bar drink service was a little slow. However the food came out on time and the bartender started serving our beers I had to just get up and travel 6 ft or so to the bar... Overall it was a good dinning experience...
Today I experienced the worse customer service in my life! The servers name was Wesley, we memorized his name, because of how many times we called his name. We arrived at 9:05pm, we got seated at 9:14pm by the time Wesley came to the table to introduce himself was 10:05. At this time we wanted to make sure sure he would take our entire order because it would be a while before he came back. During the time he took the order I asked him for the half off appetizer menu which began after 10pm and he showed it to me , which I proceeded to order another appetizer from that menu. After such a long wait and experiencing his poor server skills. When we received our food it was cold every time we ask Wesley for something he was rude condescending and arrogant. When he finally brought out the bill. It was showing all our appetizers at full price. When I question him about it he would interrupt me and say “ well you don’t get that with the 2 for $20 and I said who ordered that all we ordered was appetizers and he said well that’s only for after 10 pm and we had ordered before, according to him. I requested the manager he came back with a receipt stating the amount of minutes the order had been placed. He said to me the manager will not come to talk to us and she would not make any changes to our bill, and he said to us “ OMG ladies I have other customers! With an attitude!Needless to say if the manager has people like Wesley running the show and not facing the customers when things go wrong I don’t ever want to go there again! And I will make sure all my family and friends about my incident which I’m sure they will avoid.
I have to give them 5 stars. With only 3 servers they did a wonderful job coordinating everyone so that we were sitted timely. With all that added pressure our waitress was so nice and sweet and very attentive. Don't know how they did it but they did. Kudos to all who worked yesterday afternoon ? P.S. food was great also.
FOOD was incredible great and service really good.I'm impressed this restaurant has a 3.7 rate. No deserved 100% recomended.Malaysia thanks for your service and make our night ?! Your are awesome
What is the restaurant business coming to? We arrived at 9pm and there are 6 waiters/ waitresses on duty, plus two hostesses and were told the air would be 25 minutes to get a table. There are 20 empty tables in the restaurant. The host said the length of the wait is due to staff shortage. I don't think that is lack of staff....I think this is lack of work ethic. When I was I waitress I waited on 7 tables at a time in my section....... what is it? Today waiters can't handle more than three tables????? That's just poor employees or poor management. But this is what we tolerate today. Don't puts off the employees, don't make them work, accept bare minimum. Where's the work or else or better yet where's the hey I work well because it's my own pride and work I'm putting forth. I fear for when I'm 70 and relying on customer service.OH BUT HEY SIR AT BAR WHERE TWO PURPLE CAN SERVE 15 PEOPLE WITHOUT ISSUE..... FREAKING RIDICULOUS. Two gross just walked out!!!
Our server was slow and we got the wrong order for my daughter. Then they brought the right order, a pizza.But the pizza was too hot for her to eat it. I had to ask for a refill twice. On top of all of that this was yesterday on St. Patrick's Day. The place was busy but not crazy busy. It took us almost a hour to get our food after ordering. The food was great but the staff couldn't been more friendly.
The 2/$32 meals are thee absolute best!Food served hot and tastyWaitress worked diligently to satisfy our cravings
I read a few reviews and most of the complaints was about wait time. I went in for an interview. Interview was set for 2pm-2:30 pm. I noticed a couple came in they was seated she didn't offer them no drinks n left their table to assist someone who already been served. That couple got up n left. Still sitting there waiting to get interviewed waitress with red hair came out and apologized to the guy that was there waiting with me but never apologized to me. Manager came out sat down at 2:26pm. I left cause if he hired me ge would expect for me to be on time to work but he wasn't professional enough to be on time to interview me. LEAD BY EXAMPLE
