It is a nice little place. We don't have any other privately owned ice cream places around. They also have some nice little meals. I enjoyed their salad and my father in law enjoyed had beef stew that he said was good.
Very inexpensive and very busy place. A Little bit of employee drama that they had play out but the apology was sincere for what we overheard & made us feel like ok- we are all human and have moments, Our server wasn't spectacular (kitchen brought food but we had no silverware and what was brought was iffy on cleanliness) but hey ---- Food was pretty good Haven't picked my plate clean in a long time and this food made me do that. The banana split to go was excellent & the value for what you get is uncommon in this area. Definitely will still go back to try more things.
I went here for the first time the other day to get ice cream. Maybe it’s because I got a basic flavor (chocolate chip) but it was mediocre at best. My boyfriend got a snickers milkshake, and it was good, but you can get the same milkshake at any ice cream place you go and it might even taste better. I was honestly expecting more with how people hype this place up.I will say, however, that the prices were pretty good. It was $3 for a good sized milkshake, we couldn’t even finish it. Looking over the menu, the food items were decently priced as well.The biggest issue I had with the visit was that it is cash only. No where are there any signs that state this and they don’t tell you when you walk in or before you start ordering. My boyfriend tried using the ATM, but it didn’t work, so it charged him the $2 fee for nothing. I don’t know if this place wants to keep the aesthetic of the olden times or something but it’s 2022. People rarely ever carry cash on them anymore unless they’re older people. I don’t think it’s that difficult to introduce a card payment option at a place that is so popular. This probably happens a lot and I wonder what they do when people don’t have cash and the atm doesn’t work? Just give out free food?

Me and my family went through Winter Haven today, and my Dad saw Andy's on the Internet. We stopped in, and the place was extremely busy. We were able to be seated, and had AMAZING service. The food was extremely amazing, and had amazing portions. The prices were perfect, although given that everything is going up in price this day and age. What I even loved, was the old-fashioned type diner feel (even though I am 32), and the old music from the 50s and 60s that was playing. I may be young, but I love the older music. I will definitely return! P.S. The Green beans were AMAZING, and I feel the best green beans that I have ever had!

What a fun diner. Food was great. Service was good. It is very busy. Everything being brought out looked good, wide variety. Great place for pick up.
Stopped to get some ice cream on our way out of town. Mix of milk shakes, sundaes, and hand dipped. All were good, service was fast and friendly. We'd stop here again.
