Had lunch here yesterday. We split “beef” nachos and ordered some chips and queso. The party of two that ordered after us got their chips right as they sat down. We waited for about 10 minutes, then my wife got up and went to ask the staff. They said they forgot we ordered chips. So needless to say, our chips were brought out at the same time as the nachos.The nachos were terrible. There was such little beef on them, yet they were smothered in cheese and lettuce. When we asked for a refill, having paid for large drinks, the server brought back the cup and it wasn’t even filled all the way. Obvious this store is cutting corners every which way they can.To top it off, the restrooms were disgusting!!! The men’s room appeared that the toilet hadn’t seen a toilet brush in a month! The women’s restroom was repulsive. Some “lady” had used the toilet and didn’t even bother to flush it. Who does that? Disgusting!! It’s obvious the staff doesn’t bother to check the condition of the restrooms. Just a side note, there was literally six guests in the restaurant at the time of our visit, and two bags on the online order shelf. They were NOT busy.
I was extremely shocked how dog friendly/dog service they truly are. Without asking they offered my Pup a water bowl. The general manager ( I believe his name was Sam ) was so excellent helping me and my friend feel so welcome and comfortable. The service was so extremely excellent! The food came out so fresh! Thank you for amazing time!
We stopped in here for an early dinner after visiting Winter Garden. We ordered the Trio with chips that came with salsa, guacamole and queso. For our entrees we ordered the Beef Chimichanga and Chipotle Chicken Burrito. This restaurant was recommended by a young lady working in one of the shops in Winter Garden. We thought it was a full-service restaurant, but you go to the counter to order, and they bring your food and beverages to you. The restaurant was a good size and they had plenty of outdoor seating, which was very nice. It took longer than I expected to receive our order, but the food was very good. They need additional staffing. The young lady that took our order was also clearing tables and delivering food orders.
I wish I could give them 4.5 stars. Honestly, they vary according to the staff and manager they have at any given time. Sometimes, I would give them 3-stars and others times a strong 5-stars. So, I will balance it. It is never awful. The food is dependably 4-stars. Honestly, I have been to several Tijuana Flats, and you can't always depend on them. This store is dependably good, and sometimes better than good. That is the nature of chain restaurants.
Place is and feels dirty. Prices are expensive for Taco Bell quality plates. Order taker screwed up our order, charged me double, had to redo the soda and even the meal. Worth to say, she corrected all her mistakes when brought to her attention.
Very bad experience. First it was the dirtiest Tijuana Flats I have ever been in. Bathroom was very dirty and the windows look like they have never been clean. We had a problem with our order. Since one of us got our meal we did not want it remade. We just ask for a refund for that meal. We paid by gift card( every year buy 200.00 in gift card for past 5 years)and ask if it would be refunded to the card. The server said he didn't know we could go inside and talk to them. We had just gotten our nachos. I ask if the manager could come out. What a mistake. He had such an attitude. He asked us what our problem was. ( Not in a nice way). Ask if this being refunded to the gift card We did not pay with credit.. He said 3 to 4 days. He must have been having a really bad day. Won't go back to that location. ☹️☹️☹️

Great food. Cool place. But… the short girl with short red curly hair and black hat needs to be more friendly. seems liken she doesn’t wanna be there. It’s like customers are a bothersome.
Went there for lunch by my self and waited over 30 min on my food. 3 tables that were in groups and ordered after me got there food before i did. I then went up and asked whats going on. They asked my name on my order. Then when i did get it it was cold and i had no salsa for chips. I asked about salsa and they said salsa with chips has been discontinued. Needless to say i will never visit another tijuana flats ever again.
Our order came without chips and queso. Then 3 of the 4 items we purchased were incorrect. The cilantro lime rice was nasty. The queso didn't taste like normal tflats queso.The cookie flautas were good though. And the staff was nice.
