We LOVE this place! He food, atmosphere, drinks, service, all amazing. Andres is our favorite bartender! Make sure to go see him and get an awesome margarita. They even have USB chargers at the booths and bar, along with purse hooks. The whole place is clean and nice, even the bathrooms. Top notch place!
This 1 star is for catering. I do not normally post reviews, however this experience was very frustrating. We love coming to the restaurant and ordered catering for 30 people. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND CATERING>-The person taking our order could not give suggestions on how much was needed for 30 people for sides, but was pleasant-Gave 20% tip ahead of time-DO NOT RECOMMEND-When picking up, asked if there was utensils included (which I thought was usually standard for anything catered or picked up and not asked if I wanted included if that was an option at the time of ordering). The employee stated that was not requested ahead of time. When asked if we could get it, the response was 'that wasn't asked for when it was ordered'-The food was poorly sealed and leaked everywhere.Overall bad experience. Will not be ordering catering again and may go to another San Jose location all together.
I come here at least 2x a week since before covid. It NEVER disappoints. Great food. Great service. Great chips and salsa. AND, I love that they have Diet Coke and Coke Zero. They have great homemade hot sauce. It’s alway clean and the margaritas are great. So many wonderful things and I’m so glad they are here!
They never disappoint me, good good and good service. The food was served fast.
This is a fantastic Mexican restaurant, I can't say enough positive things about it. The food is fantastic, reasonably priced, friendly comfortable atmosphere and terrific staff. The only thing I think they could improve is their vegan/vegetarian selections. Although the waitstaff is incredibly accommodating, and allowed us to customize our order to make it vegan friendly. This is a great restaurant!
I live closer to the location on 27 but we travel a little further to go here because of the exceptional service and hot food. While we’ve come quite a bit, I decided to leave a review now because we brought a part of 23 on Friday night, March 18. We were sat as soon as we walked in. They were overtly welcoming and accommodating to our large party. They assigned two servers to our very large table. (of whom, were sisters) words can’t describe how amazing they were. We had zero problems with our spilt checks, food was perfectly served, hot, and without mistake. Refills on drinks and chips and salsa without request. They even let us Congo line upon leaving the restaurant. Thank you for your hard work, San Jose’s. It is always a treat and privilege to take such a large family out and financial commitment. When you decide to do that and NOT cook and clean up at home, you really do wish to receive good service, knowing you’re going to pay a lot and tip very well for their time & extra work. I hope that, in turn, we were easy and respectable guests. Please know, when you see me, you’ll be taken care of.

I was skeptical that I'd find good Mexican food in the burbs but I was wrong. This place has been around longer than I've lived here and I can see why. The food and drinks are delicious. The portions are generous. The staff is friendly and attentive. I will definitely return whenever I have a craving for Mexican food.
I highly suggest San Jose for Mexican food! Must get their cheese dip. I always get the burritos textonos. My wife loves their margaritas also! Would go to any and all of their locations.
Really didn't experience anything special here. Over priced for the quality of food. Sirloin flap steak was like shoe leather, 4 bucks for a side of fries is ridiculous, and the service was marginal. Being generous giving it a 3 star review.
