The food was excellent. I highly recommend the mussels. Whats not to recommend. This food was better then those no good chain restaurants. Great service with no attitude.
The sweet potato fries are fine, the cucumber and onion salad is really good. I got fish and chips and fried shrimp. The shrimp were good. The fish was three small pieces; one was delicious, but the other two were weirdly flat and dry, like fried fish jerky. So, I don't know what happened there. My friend said her burger was delicious, so I added a star for that. The actual interior of the restaurant was nice, fairly small. Parking is a bit limited in this area, so be ready to walk a block or two if you're not lucky.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is pretty cool. They have some really neat history behind a lot of things in the restaurant. The food was pretty good for the most part. The Filet Mignon Sandwich was really good! I wish there was more selection on the menu, though. Nothing on there really caught my eye. But they have a good alcohol selection. Our waitress was really nice and took great care of us.The 4 stars is mainly because of two other waitstaff. I listened to two waiters complain and talk about their personal lives for about 45 minutes. I normally wouldn't care, but they were so loud and kind of obnoxious. I was with my parents and daughter and was trying to enjoy time with them. My dad was being friendly and asked one of the guys a question, and the guy was really rude to my dad and complained about his long shift. (My dad had seen him earlier when they came in for lunch). My dad told him that he hoped his night got better, and the guy stared at him, said, "okay," and just walked away. It was really awkward and rude. I know this may sound ridiculous, because the rest of the experience was great outside of them, but it wasn't a great thing to go through that evening.
Fantastic place to eat. Food is consistently great. Bert, owner, is friendly and makes it a habit to come out to visit. Barbara, waitress extraordinaire, is a constant ray of sunshine. Definitely worth a visit, or many.
We have lived in Winter Garden before this place opened. When it did, we hoped it would stick around. It has, and it deserves to stick around. Since its inception, it has been a go-to place in town. Love it. My wife loves the burgers, and I like the cuban sandwich.
And great food ?? Like most restaurants, they are struggling to get help. Please be patient.
Honestly this place has the best food ive ever had. Fried chicken, watermelon, kool aid. Everything you could ask for in a great resturant. Moon cricket grille is the best olace ive ever had food it reslly reminds me of the 1950's. I reccomend moon cricket grille to any darks.
Beer cold and staff on top of everything. The spinach artichoke could have been hotter but no reason to complain.
I actually really dislike giving bad reviews but they have a sign that says seat yourself but when we did no one came to our table for over 30 minutes. After making eye contact with several waiters and trying to be polite as possible we went inside to request a server and still no one came. I understand they’re under staffed but it wasn’t a nice experience. Thank goodness there are so many other places to eat near by.
