This small diner is a favorite of my Dad. They are only open for breakfast and lunch, small but tasty menu. Staff treats you like family.
Had to wait for about 10 minutes for a table and waited quite a while for meal as well. Flavor of Greek omelet was good but it was a bit over cooked. Hubby had the chorizo omelet and did not feel it had enough chorizo flavor. The biscuits are pretty good. Server was good.

Honestly have no idea why this is rated so high. It’s your basic diner with basic food. Let’s not pretend this is worth a 5 star rating.
My husband and I wanted to go out for breakfast today since we had the day off. We went at opening and everything was delicious & we got our food quickly. I had the veggie omelet & my husband had the Philly omelet. Prices are very good. Definitely recommend.
Food was very nice, fast and delicious. The biscuits are light and wonderful.We will visit often.
Loved it! Great comfort food that will definitely bring us back. I also felt a warm welcome and genuine hospitality from the staff that is hard to find in customer service nowadays. Hope this helps.
This morning was the first time visiting the Avalon Diner with my family. We normally go to Keke’s in Clermont but my husband asked if I could find something more like a little local breakfast place not a franchise. Well after stepping into this wonderful diner and being catered to by the lovely Ms. Brenda we were bowled over not only by her impeccable service but the most fabulous breakfast. Every single thing we ordered was cooked to perfection! The Avalon Diner and Ms. Brenda will certainly be seeing us from now on.
Great food. Chicken biscuits were delicious with the turkey gravy. My waitress was so friendly. Will come back again
