Best Japanese in Winter Garden. Service was perfect. Chef was entertaining. Star of the show was the food. The grilled food was so delicious. Chicken was tender and cooked through. Shrimp was huge. Salmon was seasoned perfectly. Steak was cooked perfectly. The veggies were crispy and fresh. My go to at any sushi spot is the salad and their volcano roll. The ginger dressing in the salad was fresh and tasty. The house soup was beef based. Delicious, but slightly oily..the mushrooms were fresh. The volcano roll was so delicate and the baked crab on top was heavenly. We also tried the Caribbean Sunshine and spicy shrimp tempura. I did not need any sauce for my food with the exception of sriracha. The hibachi grilled food was so delicious we forgot to take pictures. Highly highly recommended. Ample parking since it is located in a shopping plaza. Tons of nice stores to browse if you want to digest your dinner. Another win for Winter Garden. I had to drive 35 minutes to get there but it was worth it.
Maybe their hibachi is better than their sushi? Not that their sushi is bad, but it's not presented correctly. The sushi rolls are far to big to enjoy. They should be about half the size to be able to enjoy. When we went it was between lunch and dinner and they weren't very busy. Google showed being slow for the day. We were told 15 minutes to be seated. We waited double that.Another 30 minutes before food was brought out.If you don't have things to do, this isn't a big deal, but if you haven plans for the evening, make for at least 2 hours here.
Me and my family have been coming to this place for many years. We love the sushi here. I'm a little disappointed that the sushi happy hour is gone but I understand after the pandemic the place needs to make their money back. The food is always amazing here and we especially love the Godzilla roll. My parents ONLY eat Pakistani or Indian food but whenever I tell them we are going to Aji's, the entire family comes along. Great service, great food, amazing atmosphere for a nice family dinner.
Low lighting slow instrumental music ambiance. We had QRoll and eel roll and dinner combo.Loved every bite.
We came last Sunday night for a date night . We ordered the 20 bucks deals with two rolls and add up few sushi rolls . The food was served fast and the service was excellent .
The website and all the reviews talked about the happy hour and when we got there we were told there is no more happy hour.
Felt like it missed the mark in a number of places, and I’m a sucker for these kinda places. Everything comes with a soup and salad. Tasteless additions. Our chef rushed through the cooking, stopping occasionally to refer to his sheet as to who was having what. Sadly everything was sort of one note in flavour. Salmon was overcooked. Everything else was overly salty. Not worth the price really and wouldn’t be going back.
Extremely disappointed and dissatisfied in my take out experience last night at Aji Sushi Teppan. We decided to order take out to take home after a long trip. Once we arrive home we were surprised to not only get the wrong roll but no soy sauce , no chop sticks and no napkins. Come on guys. The bare minimum is to at least have this. This is how the packaging looked and how we received it. Nothing more.
Michelle was our server who was very gracious and attentive. Wonderful service especially for a busy Friday night! Good quality and delicious food!
Presentation is good, sushi dishes are made with fresh ingredients, overall nothing spectacular. The crispy honey chicken was not crispy but tender and is made with fresh chicken. Portions overall on the conservative side.
