One of the worst pollo’s I have ever been to, half the time I go there, they tell me that they are out of chicken. How does a chicken place not have chicken during rush hour. Asked for dark meat and they say they aren’t able to do that, other pollos I’ve been to always accommodate it. Not once is the order right, something has always have to be missing from the order. Chicken here is always dry. Rather drive and extra 10 min to go to the other pollo.
Probably one of the worst run Pollo Tropicals out there and most are already poor at it so this says a lot. The inside wasn’t open during regular hours (that bs covid excuse is just not valid anymore). I saw countless people leave after walking up to the door instead of waiting in the long & slow drive through line. If you are going to close inside at least have a fast drive through but not even that. The food wasn’t even worth the wait. Don’t waste your valuable time here.
Ordered lunch from Uber eats for pick-up. Received notification that my order was ready and I arrived 5 minutes later. After waiting 50 minutes, along with 10 other people, my order came out...and it was warm not hot. Wouldn't go back to this place again, even if it was free.
Came here for Doordashing, the screen was red, understandable so I waited, except for the fact that I kept telling them my name and every other new person who came in for pick up was getting their made before mine. Mine was FIRST and they kept skipping it to cater to the others, I sat there for AN HOUR my food was already ready 45 min ago, everyone’s else’s orders were very big orders while MY order was only ONE bowl and that’s it.
This was one Of the most horrible experiences I have had. I ordered my food at approximately 8:45 PM on the Pollo Tropical official app. The pickup time options I was given were 9:30, 10:00, or 10:30 to pick up food. This was according to the Pollo Tropical app. I came to Pollo Tropical it approximately 920. When I got there it seemed Pollo Tropical was closed. There was still an employee inside and she thankfully open up the door and told me that they had already closed. She was holding in her hand the order I had made. She then called her manager who proceeded to tell me that he had changed the hours a month ago to end at nine. He proceeded to tell me it was my fault for having the ordered for after that. He said he had nothing to do with the app and it was all on me for having made the mobile order. He told me to cancel the order in the app, but the order had already been placed and paid for. So they received my money, but failed to make the food they were paid for. I’m extremely upset. Pollo Tropical should be responsible for keeping their times current on their own app. I have ordered from other Pollo Tropicals that have limited times, but those times show up on the app so that I know that they are not going to be there after a certain time. I was very upset that the manager took no responsibility nor had any care or concern that I not only didn’t get my food that I paid for but had no concern for how I would be able to get my money returned to me.
Took 20 minutes to get my food via the drive through. The team has to be efficient or I am not coming back. Time: 4pm on a Monday.
Online order. I was 10 minutes late (on purpose so it would be ready) and it wasn't ready yet. They didn't have mac and cheese, so had to make it at home for my son. One of my chop chop's was missing vegetables that I ordered.Overall it was a disappointing experience, and I'm not sure if I'll go back again.
We waited almost 30 minutes to get our food and it was cold need better management For the help
They need people to handle take out people to handle walk ins and people to handle door dash or euberOrder 25 mins ago and still no food and the place is packed . The cooks are too busy chit chatting in the back . Not enough staff !!! We are 15 people deep waiting for our order
Fresh Avacado??! Whaaaat! They usually claim to be out of chicken and sauce by 7 pm.. yes..always.. Then the wait for anything was at least 20 min- STOP FOCUSING ON DOOR DASH, UBER EATS, ..FOCUS ON the customers face in front of you!! we don't go anymore..Ive emailed, IG, all of it.They were very kind last year giving healthcare half off however ...HOSPITAL is across the street.You really should step it up in this great location! We used to get it every Wednesday after practice!
