I usually love this place and have had good experiences in the past. I hesitate to give a poor review because I know how difficult this business is these days. However, I met friends for dinner mid week and was very disappointed. The food was not up to par and the service was spotty. We hardly saw our waiter. I ordered the branzino special and it had no flavor. My guests had the octopus (not very good) and some pasta dishes (just ok). I hope it was an off night.
Always enjoy the tapas here. Great place to share a bunch of appetizers and get some great cocktails.
We were seated right on top of other customers, although there were plenty of open tables. Waiter was haughty and not friendly in the least. Lobster bisque on the online menu but not on the real menu. Ordered lasagna and it was made with beans instead of meatâ¦which would have been ok if it had any flavor. I asked about the salmon dish, but was told it was just a plain grilled piece of salmon, no glaze or seasonings. My husband had short ribs which were fatty and not seasoned. Pricey dinner. Very disappointed as it was our anniversary and i had read some good ratings.
Great experience on all counts: service, food, bar drinks, ambiance. Perfectly staffed, unlike many restaurants these days. Looking forward to my next visit!
