Loved everything about this place. The decor was homey especially on the rainy day when we visited. We were greeted as soon as we entered the door. We promptly received our menus and the drink orders were taken. Our waitress was attentive to our needs. The food was finger-licking good. We had the homemade mac ‘n cheese, the collard greens and cornbread, the ribs with sweet sauce for me and spicy sauce for my daughter. My granddaughter had the conch patties and they were delicious, as well. We will be paying another visit to our “favorite” barbecue restaurant in West Palm Beach.
My first time ordering at Troy's. I traveled 20 miles to this place based on the positive reviews. I had the brisket dinner with two sides..macaroni and baked beans. $32.00 total. I also ordered a slice of cake. The macaroni was average not enough cheese for me and bland. The beans were very tasty probably the best part of the meal. The brisket was tender but was extremely dry. It was very difficult to eat. I don't think I'll return.
Food looked good but arrived cold. My motorcycle fell over in the parking lot because the kickstand went into the cheap asphalt and now it’s leaking. Thanks for the 40 dollar cold meal and a broken bike. Servers were rude and didn’t want to walk to my table when I told them the food was cold. They told me to get it and bring it up to them. Will never go back. Gave the food to the first homeless guy I found on the street
We all know the chicken,ribs and brisket are out of this world. But I cannot say enough about the customer service and making you feel like family. Anthony goes out of his way to greet you and make you feel at home. His staff does the same. Stacy our bartender, made our drinks with love… and we felt it. In a cruel world our respite was here. Welcoming… phenomenal bbq… peace and love all around. Love you guys.
This was our 1st time at Troy's and the hospitality was great. The service was also great as well as the time in which we received our food.We ordered 2 Rib Dinners. The Rib Dinner comes with 2 sides, my sides were Mac & Cheese and Peas and Rice.I ate everything on my plate except for the peas and rice only because it was heavily seasoned other than that I enjoyed my meal and will be returning.I highly recommend Troy's to anyone in search of some good BBQ.
Okay! So I had been craving ribs for about a week! Read the reviews on Troy's BBQ and decided to give them a shot! Boyyyy was I disappointed ? The customer service is superb but the food itself was not what the hype was about AT ALL! And for the price you pay, it was definitely not worth it! Sadly the best item on my plate was the cornbread! The beans taste like they come straight out the can as well as the collard greens and the ribs were just ok with alot of fat on them. I should've saved my money!!!!
I ordered online. I live three minutes away. I called to clarify the time For pick up. I was told I could come now. I went immediately.. When I got home/3 minutes later The brisket sandwich for $18.12 plus tax was dried out and tasteless…And the macaroni and cheese side was cold and also tasteless. If not for the bbq sauces the brisket would’ve been meaningless. At $18.12 for a small sandwich I expected moist tender brisket not dried up pieces of beef!!!!
This first chance to eat at Troy's BBQ at West Palm Beach on Georgia Avenue!! I had gave up on BBQ places, but employee name Linda was at the bank I use I notice her shirt I asked where is Boynton she stated no the one on Georgia Ave so here I am and this place restored my faith in BBQ this one of the best if not the best I have ever eaten!! The service especially from Shanna she was amazing!! She is very knowledgeable and great to meet!! Shaye was great as well too
So good! I left my house on a mission for good BBQ and 8 found that and more! Sandra, Shawna, Grace and JJ were amazing!! The food was amazing too!! Thank you for the home hospitality! And great service!!! ❤️
My review will be broken down in parts. Atmosphere, Customer Service and Food Quality.Now I just want to be clear I am a southern and is comparing this food to real southern food that will be at a cook out. The food your grandma, mama, and aunties and then would make you know the ones with the fat on the back of their arms. FOOD QUALITY TRASH. I got the Family Meal Total Cost 60 dollars after taxes. The food came with a slab of rib and chicken with 3 sides. The sides included Baked Beans, Peas and rice and baked beans. The baked beans tasted as if it cam right out the can no love at all. The Mac and cheese was too salty with one main cheese extra sharp. The rice and peas was hard and dry. I would give the food and overall 2 stars went home and added spices to the menu for us to enjoy. CUSTOMER SERVICE ; was good our waiter gave her honest opinion on the food which helped us avoided buying the cakes. When it got busy we got lost in the service due to man power. The Atmosphere was by far the greatest part of the visit. The decor is great with good outdoor dining a real southern feel.
