My aunt and I visited Sasafrass for dinner and there was a mis communication between the hostess and the server which caused us not to get greeted right away. Once addressed, our server was extremely apologetic and sincere. She went over and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and felt comfortable. Our server , has such a great personality and definitely made our experience even better. Overall, the ambiance, food and hospitality was lovely. Highly recommend it!Thank you Sharon and server for being so sweet and accommodating making my dine experience one I will not forget!
One of the better meals we’ve had while living in WPB. Beach scene under the bar top was pretty cool. Really good Bloody Mary as well. Will definitely be back and excited to try this groups other restaurant concepts. They clearly know what they’re doing.
Great food, amazing drinks, and quality does not lack. On the main strip of WPB and offers a sophisticated ambiance. Order the shrimp and grits.
Sunday Brunch, if you want a fine food with flare, then you need to come here! The limitless mimosas or Bellinis start off the hour with the incredible appetizer of the southern biscuits with a home made jams. Everything we tried was delicious, and we wrapped up the meal with some beignets (more similar to a powdered donut but still marvelously messy). The service was good, but if you can make a reservation to avoid the extended wait times because this place gets crowded.
Love this place. Their brunch is a great with bottomless sangria and mimosas. Beware no mix and match and I’m so sad they got rid of the spritz. The food here is always top notch and the location can’t be beat.
Excellent food, waitress was very nice
One of the owners of this place Rodney Mayo is the next Epstein. This guy promotes the idea of what happens at this place with these "gay" men in drag touching female guest in inappropriate ways. Don't go here if you're looking for a peaceful meal.
Had an amazing brunch at Sassafras last week! The food was so yummy and the service was incredible. We brought an extra person last minute and requested to sit inside upon arrival and they accommodated both with ease. Our waitress was honestly the best. I wish I could remember her name to give her a personal shoutout but she kept the bottomless drinks flowing and was really kind and helpful throughout our very long brunch. Spoke to the chef for a little too and he was super nice. Will absolutely be back!
Do not waste your time coming to this restaurant. The service is horrible and the food was overpriced for flavorless chicken and nasty shrimp and grits. We had the worst experience yesterday being yelled at by the manager/ hostess. Came off very racist and disrespectful to our party of 10. Tried to voice our concerns about our waitress and was cut off mid sentence to be yelled at in front of the whole restaurant. This woman tried to embarrass our group by raising her voice and telling us that we weren't going to be listend to. Based upon the 1 star reviews for this restaurant on google the common theme is that the food and service is horrible. Also the other complaints that the hostess is rude is very true We experienced the same times 10. Don't waste your money here! I will be making sure to spread the word to all of my colleagues and friends to never dine here!
I planned a birthday brunch for my husband's 35th birthday here. We arrived for our 11:30 reservation and were promptly seated outside in the sun. The tables outside have hardly any shade or covering. When we asked to be seated inside they stated that they could not accommodate a table of 3 inside, mind you there were two people seated at a table for four. Fine, we asked if we could move our table so we would be properly shaded. The hostess allowed us to. All was well. A few minutes later a manager came to us and told us that we had to move our table back into the sun because they were fully booked and the location of our table would block the use of the table next to us. Mind you, there were at least 8 empty tables available outside and several inside. Why not let us sit in the shade and maybe we would've finished our food before the reservation behind us arrived. But no, this manager wouldn't have it and was very rude and unaccommodating. Also, when booking online, no where does it say you maybe seated outside uncovered in the sun. Of course we left and were promptly seated inside at a restaurant that actually wanted our service. If you make a brunch reservation here, make sure you request a table inside. Otherwise you will be enjoying a mimosa with a side of third degree burn all over your body.
