I used to come this place at least once a week for a sub. Now they have new ownership. Anyway after giving them the benefit of the doubt, today will be my last day buying a sub at their Okeechobee location. The sub was literally bread, mayo and veggies. Oh I'm sorry 2 peices of ham and 2 slices of cheese. It's unfortunate because I really enjoyed this place.
This place is not as good as it once was, skimpy meat and not made as good as they used to, asked for extra toppings and they did not put extra. They also had toppings that I didn’t ask for ? for the price go to Publix is my recommendation they used to be a great sub shop, seems like the employees are pocketing the stuff they used to put on your sub not going back for sure!
Had more lettuce than meat on both subs. I could literally close the sub and you won’t see anything hanging out but lettuce. Paid for extra cheese and had only one slice cut in half. Bread was soggy as well. The one on 45th gives exactly what you ask for and I never have to complain. I will never go to this location again.
The subs were great and Alex the manager went out of his way to rectify a delivery gone wrong with DoorDash. Would definitely recommend!
Love the tuna. Love the bread. Only change I didn't like was the chicken cheddar sandwich. Used to be amazing. Now, not so much using Weaver chicken.
I don’t normally write reviews, good or bad. I had to make an exception this time though. I ordered a chicken philly.. never have I seen something so horrendous. Look at the pics! The entire sandwich is white, the chicken looks canned, it all appears to be a microwaved concoction. I mean which part of that sandwich looks like it ever touched an actual grill or flattop??Ordered a steak bomb for my fiancé and she thought it looked microwaved also and refused to eat it. Simply serving food of this quality displays a lack of customer service. I wanted to support a small business but I would’ve had a much better experience at some chain like Jersey Mikes. I’ve generally heard rave reviews about Royal subs (45 st location) but I was disappointed with the food from the Okeechobee one.
If you are looking for the same taste and customer service as the Royals of 45th street don’t bother. The pink lemonade is nowhere near close! I had to come to this one since my online order went here instead of the other. I’ll be double checking next time
Love their tuna. Chicken cheddar sandwich used to be better. The bread is awesome.
Absolutely love Royal Subs. Their bread is so delicious. My favorite sub is the Italian.
Another establishment I've frequented since my freshman year in high school; just in a different location. The staff is great, friendly and fun! Many familiar faces and get this, the new faces actually smile. I have never had a sub that taste even similar to these. My favorite of all time is the Italian Combo, but everything is wonderful!!!
