Unfortunately the treatment is very poor, I have loved this restaurant for years, but the behavior of the workers makes me not like to go back to buy my food from Polo!! One of the worst shops, workers treat you as if you take food for free. You hate arguing with them. I feel like they're raising peer pressure. This isn't the first time I've been treated badly.
Food is great. But no one wants to eat dry food with not enough sauce.Since the start of Covid they have begun making their employees lie and say that there are only 3 ramekins of any sauce you ask for when you check out at the drive-through.This has become evident because no matter what time of the day or what day you go theres always only 3.This last time I went I specifically asked at the speaker if there was sufficient sauce otherwise I wasn’t going to order as much food as I intended to.They said yes and allowed me to pay, and then said there were only 3 sauce available when I got to the window.How about instead of asking your employees to lie, have a set amount of sauce that is Free per meal or per 10$ spent. One ramekin of garlic cilantro on a large tropichop is not sufficient. When someone buys 4 large tropichops and you tell them you only have 3 sauce left, thats just greedy. I get you have supply chain issues but you dont need much business acumen to come up with a solution that is better than “lie to the customers”.
I walked into this establishment and was starving and didn't know what to eat. the cashier Isabel was very nice and helpful and helped me break down the menu because there were many options.some how the kitchen staff got my order wrong.which I understood and Elizabeth the manager was so nice about it and fixed it for me i will definitely be coming back her the hospitality is 100% amazing!
This is the worst pollo topical in palm beach county. The drive thru takes over 20 minutes. The cashiers are never friendly and they NEVERRRRRRR have cilantro garlic sauce. Last time coming here.
This Pollo tropical sucks! I wish I had a closer one so I didn’t have to deal with the people here. Super rude. Drive through lady “Wilberta” refused to give me any sauce for my food. She told me “We don’t do that anymore.” I asked what does that mean? And she ignored me, an then handed me my food.
All I can say is the food is great, although the rice is inconsistent, sometimes undercooked. Which is the reason I keep returning in spite of the disgusting, horrible, unprofessional, rude customer service. They consistently leave out items, when I ask for sauces they tell me it's in the bag (never is), and I keep private messaging to which I receive no response! This company has a great concept, Cuban fast food, but they need to do a better job of hiring and training.
Food is good and they have a great selection. Customer service is a different story. I believe corporate should have Chick-fil-A teach customer service to the staff and management. Never heard of a company that turns down extra money when someone tries to order a large salad, which, is an upsell.
They only take one order at a time in drive thru so be prepared to wait. I’m assuming their short staff. Horrible first experience! No wonder you wait so long … when you order you have to repeat yourself because she didn’t listen so obviously she’s doing other things. I still don’t understand they take one card order and you wait and wait before they take the next order. As I watch the lady who works drive thru in the red shirt instead of taken orders she’s cleaning counters!!!!! Huh!!!!Really that’s the 2 piece white meat!!!!! Lol why do I have a big box with nothing in it come on!!!What is this? Sorry worst experience will I go back not sure as of now NO look at the food for $22.00 nowayOh and No empanadas the entire reason why we went.Look at the reviews everyone is complaining about the same thing
Food is good but night shift is unbelievably slow. Been here multiple times at night and during the day and For some reason during the day it’s twice as busy as the night and the night shift takes 5 times as long to prepare and give food to the customers. If you are looking for fast food during dinner time either choose another location or place to eat because there is nothing fast about this place.
Unorganized and unprofessional staff. Seems like a common theme amongst this chain, not isolated to this specific location. Have visited a couple hoping it would be better than the last but for some reason it is all the same at every location.The guava chiller was good though. ??♂️
