The boneless/skinless chicken breasts were TINY, overcooked & dry.The qtr chicken was ok. The customer service was ok. Ordering was easy enough as long as the manager helped the new employee. Order pickup was poorly done as our name was called before the order was completely packed. The server wouldve let us leave without half our order if we hadnt checked before leaving. When asked the answer was a sullen "oh yeah. Here it is".
Tried to dine in and it was one of the most disappointing experiences. The entire donning area was dirty, there was a full staff tonight and I had to clean off my own table after asking an employee to do so. Another customer came back to the counter with their order because they had a set of drive through order headphones in there bag.Overall this location is unsanitary, unorganized, and very immature staff.
I didn't want you to give me a refund for something I ordered, even after I had to wait for it again after they gave my order away. The only way this could of happened is if the other people had a duplicate receipt right? We're all human and no matter how good you might think you are, error is inevitable but could've been avoided if we pay attention. I had to hand over my receipt so that the can re-do my order since it was no longer on the screen. When I finally got my order I began to check it. The surf and turf had a small two bite size chunks of meat. I showed it to the attendant at the counter and told her to add some meat to the order and she rudely told me she couldn't because that is how she was taught. So, I said I can't accept that. She proceeded to the register and gave me back the money for that order. When I worked in hospitality i would rectify my mistake by offering something complimentary. You need to teach your manager hospitality. Thanks
I went today, went thru the drive through. After many attempts to speak to someone through the intercom, no one responded. I drove up to the window, saw the people inside, gossiping; when I tried to get someone's attention I was completely ignored. Two more cars pulled up behind me at the window. I asked the guy behind me if he had been able to order. But he had also been ignored, so he drove up. I tried two more times to get attention from the people inside. And they continued to ignore me. One lady finally acknowledged me, to say "one second" but still no one came. I gave up and drove away. Worst experience. All I wanted was lunch.
Well they did it again we ordered takeout in the Drive-Thru line and items were missing in our bag, seems to be a common Occurrence at this location not sure about other locations,,, make sure you check everything you ask for and also get a receipt which they failed to give me so I can't even prove that I was there probably won't be there for quite a while good luck
Food was amazing! We don’t have a Pollo Tropical where we live so it was a fun surprise to try a new place that tasted so good.4 stars is because service wasn’t the best. We’d ordered a side with one of our meals that we didn’t receive. When my husband went to ask them about it they said it wasn’t a side but a sauce. Website clearly shows the boiled yucca as a dish and not just a sauce.
They went above and beyond. Everything was perfect. And fast at that as I was in a rush. Been to many of these locations over the years and I will say, this one is now my favorite. Had not been to this specific location before as I usually attend the one on Northlake. Your now a winner! Plus its just simple healthy for fast food. You can't go wrong!
I never wrote a review before and the food was okay, however it was the service that was horrible. Literally closed at 10:20 not 11pm like it’s said. The girl at the drive thru window was dismissive and rude. Asked for extra sauce she got mad and after that we were like if you don’t like your job then don’t work here. Make my long story short, hire new staff because clearly none of these people want to work.
If you don't speak Spanish there has been communication questions trying to order. The pork is tasty but chicken can be dry and chewy..can't complain about rice or beans. Always recommend orders to go in my opinion.
I think its safe to say, all Pollo Tropical locations are always packed for lunch and dinner. This location does its best to make ordering as smooth as possible and I appreciate their hard-work and the team members they have outside taking orders and answering questions. They don’t get appreciated and recognized enough but we appreciate you! The Chicken soup is amazing! The Cuatro Leche is a bit starchy compared to a different location I went to but still tastes good. No complaints here from us
