I had the pleasure of attending meetings here this weekend…we also enjoyed spa services, cabana , poolside food and drinks and dinner. The lobby is stunning, the room was absolutely gorgeous! Food , drinks, pool all great. All the staff were so helpful…my AC unit had a crazy rattle and they fixed it while I was at dinner! I didn’t have a chance to visit Honeybelle, but I am returning with friends for restaurant month

On a recent visit to Palm Beach, I had the pleasure of (re) visiting the PGA National Resort. I had been to the resort back in 2016 and have to say that I was underwhelmed back then. On this visit (we went for dinner) I almost didn't recognize the place - it had a complete transformation into an impressive looking and feeling resort. Upon further inquiry, I found out that the resort has undergone a $100MM renovation. Wow! Although we didn't stay the night, we got a tour of the

Friendly folks, choose to play 4 or 5 different courses.... and if you really want a challenge, play the Champion Course which I believe the Honda Classic is played. Tell them you know Bob and they will have no clue! Lol...

The course was in terrible shape. We played May 22 and it took 5 hours to finish and it was $330 per person. It would be better to play a municipal public course vs this garbage. I would highly advise choosing another course.

Golf package doesn't mean golf package here, we booked a 3 round boys weekend that was supposed to include any 2 courses at the resort and their new par 3 course we opted to add another round on the Saturday which we knew would be an additional cost. What we didn't know is that there is high sur charges for the Champ and Palmer Course in excess of $280 per player. That is on top of the $3400 already paid for two nights and what we thought included the golf. Been trying to get the Manager to call back but have had no luck, guess they don't work weekends or Mondays. If that situation wasn't bad enough the Cottage, that a whole other big issue. All I can says is don't reserve a cottage of any kind. Thy are borderline UNHABITAL. The Kitchen Floor was duck taped all across the threshold to just to set the picture. To advertise this place a 4 Diamond and self proclaim as best golf in Florida is a crime. What was supposed to be a $3300 before any incidentals turned into a $6K bill with only two meals at "Birdies Diner" which somehow cost $300. PGA shame on you.

I'm simply sharing this so my fellow golf lovers avoid a disappointing experience. To begin with, nobody greeted us or took our clubs when we arrived (we had to take the clubs to the carts). The golf course itself was in very poor condition, and the course itself is quite the let down (very resort style). Lastly, the cottages you stay in are very outdated and old. In perspective, we played TPC Sawgrass the day before and their stay and play package was cheaper. The experience there was night and day, and one of the best courses and experience I've been a part of (I've played some great courses around the world). In conclusion, avoid paying the price here of approx $610 USD, it's not worth it.

Excellent hotel and resort - great value for the price. They did a great job with the renovation / decor. Food was also very good at Birdie’s and Honeybelle. Vahid at Birdie’s was wonderful. I will definitely stay again when I am back in the area.

We have been visiting this hotel for 30 years. The renovations look spectacular but it is all a facade. The staff are poorly trained and the main bar in the foyer is quite possibly the worse service I have ever received in 30 years. The bar staff are rude, disinterested, poorly presented. Interesting to note that on a Saturday night the place had maybe 20 people in it where before it would be heaving with people. This is only my second visit to the bar and both occasions were disappointing, the second time we brought visitors and were so embarrassed. We left after 20 minutes and had a much better evening elsewhere. We won’t try again. We tried Honeybelle for breakfast and the food was fine, the waiting staff pleasant but poorly trained, service was poor. The renovations to the spa again are spectacular but having slapped $100 on top of the previous prices for services with some of the same staff, it feels like you are being ripped off. Feel very sad that a place I have enjoyed holds no attraction to me any more….and I’m a member. Shame

I will preface my review by saying I try not to post only negative reviews, BUT we played the Champions Course at PGA National on April 11, 2022. It was a beautiful warm day. We had played the courses here before, but as Club Corp members and paid a reduced price. This time we paid over $450/pp for the round! We started out the round with mowers, blowers, weed whackers on the first 3-4 holes. The workers never really stopped (except for one gentleman on a lawn mower). On the 3rd hole, there was so much "activity" going on around the green that we picked up our balls, and went to the next hole. The whole day was a crawl - I realize we were a twosome, but even the foursomes were waiting extended times to tee off on most of the back 9. There's quite a bit of construction going on around the course as well. The fairways and greens were just in okay condition - we played at clubs later in the week in much better shape. This was definitely not worth the exorbitant price we were charged. It was truly a disappointing day. The only "star" of the day was our lunch at HoneyBelle - great food and drinks, our server David was awesome. So kudos to HoneyBelle!!

Had a clogged sink the entire time we were there. At one point I came back to a sink filled with brown water/hair/sediment . They attempted to fix it 4 times before they said all you can do is switch rooms-- we can not fix it. I was there for a work event and frankly did not have the time to switch rooms and my stuff was every where and it would have taken some time for me to do. I would definitely not stay here again. Customer service is terrible.
